- Didn’t get to put up back in the end of April when we did this but went to Oakland California and was asked to sing with this amazing singer Eta Lauti this song dedicated to her Aunty that passed away. It was an honor to be part of this
My wife passed away on December 17 2021. I asked our lord if he would give me the chance for only one more time to hold her and talk to her. Now I sing and play amazing grace on keyboard. Every day when I get to crying, I get comfort from this song
You will be able to hold her again one day!
The day is coming where you will see all loved ones again that love our Lord
Blessings & condolences to you. Remember, even "Jesus wept".😢 I asked my confessor why Jesus wept knowing He would see Lazares again AND that He could "wake him up". Answer.... It was Jesus' humanness of missing a Very Dear friend. Thank You Jesus for defeating Death w/the Promise that we will be w/our loved ones again Eternally. AND unutterably happy. Still, sorry to hear of your loss 😔
I'm so glad to know that someone like me is making music specially Christian songs their companion in his/her time of loneliness. God bless you. He is always there with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is our stronghold.

When my sister died I could not get this song out of my head…to the point it was compounding my grief and I begged our Heavenly Father to make it stop. Then I realized what was truly happening. It was a message from my sister, her chains were gone and she was whole again. She suffered from severe addiction and mental illness which ultimately took her from us. I now receive great comfort in this song. Her chains are gone & she is free. Thank you, brother, for this reminder. Much aloha.🌈👊🏼🌺

I know the pain of losing siblings that you love. I had 8 siblings and I lost the two I love the very most when they were both very young. I love this beautiful song. It's held a special place in my heart all my life. I pray for you, that your pain and grief will subside, because I already know the memory will never fade. Be blessed with peace and rest, that our precious Saviour hold you dear, closer to him, thru his Amazing Grace.

Oh Tongi. You are Heaven sent! I quit watching American Idol about 10 years ago but i hear a snippet and it was you singing so we started tuning in just to hear you and my goodness what an amazing talent yoiu have! We just spent 9 days at Southpoint area on the Big Island and were thrilled to see you in the top 10!!! I just found you on youtube and have subbed. This song.. i got goosebumps listening to it. You two together, pulled this off in the most respectful way. You see, i'm 55 now and i grew up in Washington state living blocks from my grandparents. They were 60 years older than me and as a young girl, i listened to grandpa play the organ and harmonica. Grandpa was a Pastor and we had Sunday services at their home after church. The song that has stuck with me all of my life is... AMAZING GRACE. He played this soo many times and grandma would hum to it while rocking her in rocker. I learned to play it when i was about 10 and it's still #1 song for me. Beautiful, well done you both deserve recognition. Christ is very pleased too! God Bless you on this journey. I heard this song thru out my childhood but never really paid attention to the lyrics until 1 day in the middle of a hell hole in Vietnam 1 of our southern soldier played it on his harmonica and it was then that I paid attention to the words. I'm not sure if It was the environment and my surrounding that made it so emotional but thinking about it now it must've been awkward to cry while holding an M-16 . I know I wasn't the only 1. This version shines some light into the abyss of darkness that we casualties of war have endured and are still struggling to find our way through. Thank you so much for sharing this..💔💔 Tofa

Beautiful! My daughter was serving at the Oakland Temple while you were there. She did a few songs herself for the temple/mission website. This song has other special meaning to me as it was sung at my father's funeral 35 years ago. This is an amazing arrangement and you both did such an amazing job.
