I am Filipina-American, I am 66 years old, married with three adult children, and I am falling in love with you! The first and only time I ever voted for an American Idol contestant was in Season 2. That was Ruben Studdard and he captured me with his soulfulness. Iam, you have that soulfulness with an island flair. For many years, I gave up watching American Idol (because I would be disappointed with the results) but now here you are in Season 21. Ever since I heard you audition, you captivated me along with my extended family. I felt alive again, I was happy, I was sad and I was hopeful. My son-in-law passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest one week ago today; just four days after his 44th birthday. He leaves his wife (my daughter) and four children. We are heartbroken, but we know that we will see him again because of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Thank you, Iam. May the Lord bless you. Iam, My son was born with a rare genetic disorder, he is now 8 years old and he is the happiest, sweetest kid. He can’t walk and can’t talk, but he lights up every room he’s in. This song just speaks to not just the loss you experienced with Rodney but the undying love of family that is truly special. The fact you don’t take anything for granted is just as much of a gift as your timeless voice.
My son also has a rare genetic condition called Angelman Syndrome so he is also very happy. Your words are lovely. Iam is just wonderful. Have been watching since his first audition, a long way from the US.

My Grandmother just made it to 101 years old on June 1st, 2023, 3 days ago. She passed away at 3:05am.... on her 101st Birthday. When I found out she passed away with "I'll be seeing you" being played for her, I found this song on here. This is song will be my special song to play when I feel a cry coming. God Bless You Iam.
Sorry for your loss. A 101 years is a long time and your family will be seeing her as Iam sings whenever you guys see something, someplace, some items, some foods that she used to cook etc. Just like how Iam could see his dad and hear him singing with him, your family has 101 years of memories to draw from. People can't be forgotten when the ones that remember them keeps them alive.

In October my pappy was diagnosed with pancreatitc cancer...the doctors caught it too late and he passed 2 weeks after being diagnosed. It hurts me deeply and music heals me when i start to cry. I miss him so much, pray for me please Iam. Jesus is merciful
I am in the season of watching my dad slowly fade away on us. I know my time with him is very short. I feel your grief of losing your father very raw. I lost my 4 siblings with cancer since 2020 up to this year ,I am also on my remission of my cancer ,and one of my healing for my depression and anxiety is music .When I saw Iam auditioning the American Idol I instantly fell in love with his soulful voice singing the song Monsters by James Blunt ,I really she’s tears and so happy and crying like crazy when he won at the AI and the homecoming to Hawaii was amazingly beautiful!Wishing you the best and God bless you young Man! Hey Iam. Keep your head up. I lost my father in 2011 when I was 9 years old. The pain never goes and it never gets better. Every year you will miss him more but you get stronger. You learn to be able to move forward and cry on your own time. He wants nothing more then to see you be as successful as possible. He loves you and watches over your shoulder everywhere you go. If you ever need advice he is there and will give it to you in whatever way he can.
Something about Iams voice just pulls you INNN.. listening to this has honestly made my heart feel so heavy & i can't help but feel like crying 😭 although i still have my parents alive & well Iams passing of his father makes me feel like he's sharing his pain through his angelic voice for everyone to help him carry & feel this burden he's gone through. Iam is a great person. I met him during my senior year at Decatur high school. I'm glad he won American Idol and spreading the island music throughout his competition. He has a beautiful voice when I first heard him sing in school. We used to hang out near the music class and outside ans just play and sing together with our other friends.

My best friend (dog) passed in 1998 I was 11 years old, I haven't cried for anyone who has passed as hard as I've cried for my best friend. Sadly back then my parents never had a camera so I have no photos of him, but believe me when I say I remember every marking on him and his smell and texture of his fur...I'm 38 now and still think of him till this day❤
