  • HACK ALERT! The myth is BUSTED - chocolate and water CAN mix! And they mix exquisitely!
    This is a total #gamechanger
How many times have we been told that chocolate and water DO NOT go together? It's true, traditionally the tiniest amount of water can mess up your beautifully melted chocolate, causing it to seize.
However, take a look at this video to see why the chocolate doesn’t curdle and becomes a rich, smoooth and velvety ganache fudge 😋
Another bonus is that it is ridiculously easy simple to make!
    Ingredients:
    - 200g dairy-free dark chocolate (min 56%)
    - 80ml - 100ml hot water* see notes
    - 25g / 5 tsp sugar (optional; depending on taste)
    - Cocoa powder (optional)
    Tools:
    - Microwave
    - Whisk or spoon

    Notes:
    - The less water you add, the denser it becomes, and each piece has more stability. The more water you add, the softer it is but this means it is also more fragile.
    - Rather than cutting up into precise squares, these can be shaped into balls with cocoa powder after being chilled in the freezer for a few hours.
    - Use this recipe as a ganache on the top of a cake!
The amount of water is only enough to provide a smooth and melty texture, all without masking the cocoa by imparting the nuances of milk or soy or nuts, and leaving it intensely chocolatey.
A few people have called these treats ‘fudge’ while others have said they are ‘truffles’! So what would you call this? Make this and let me know in the comments what you think!

Hello! I’ve had people tell me that this recipe has worked well with the following milks:
      - soy
      - almond
      - hazelnut
      - macadamia
      - cashew
      - coconut
If you don’t have any of these particular milks I really recommend sticking to boiling water like in the original recipe. Just make absolute sure that your chocolate has cocoa content of at least 56% to help it set properly.
      Hope this helps!!!

    • @CheerSeeds
      @CheerSeeds  5 років тому +2

      Hello!
I don’t believe Nutella would set up properly because of its low cocoa butter content. For the best results I recommend and dairy-free dark chocolate with at least 56% cocoa solids.
If you like it sweeter you can double the amount of sugar in this recipe, good luck!
