A literal shool for generations to come
If you try to draw one of his character you will understand how eficient he was at working ,
There isnt single line wasted everything its clean and the movement flows like it was to be a sketch for animation
What I like about him in the illustrations is how he mixes something between the works of the Gekigas and manga before him, with a colorization and design that reminds me a little of France. There are some animals he draws that are very French in comic book drawing, as I said in a comment he is much more refined than I remember I think they say you can put manga and anime design in one box, but Toryiama himself can't be put in a tangle of identifications of what a manga design is, At least in the male characters, in the girls you see more of the manga side, although reminiscent of the old ones.
