    Am I being a wally or was there a typo on Q7? Im seeing 280A in the book but thats not an available choice. I am very willing to accept I have messed this up lol...?

    • @learnelectrics4402
      @learnelectrics4402  3 роки тому +5

      No mate, the wally is me, trying to copy and paste from another question.
      The question should be ..... A 45A BS88-3 fuse
      Try that one and you will get the right answer, it shows you're on the ball.
      Thanks for your support. Dave.

      Correct remark! I spotted out, too!

    I'm already feeling more confident this time round for the exam THANKS to YOUR videos! However just wanted to know is it true that apparently the exam works in order through the book? I found myself going backwards and forwards in the book but I was not aware of the alleged order of parts

    • @learnelectrics4402
      @learnelectrics4402  3 роки тому +1

      Sort of true but not guaranteed. There are always the odd questions from part 3 that pop up in Part 5 and so on, but generally assume in order. Read the question, it will usually guide you to the correct part, good luck. Dave.

      Yes, question 7 should say 45A. My typo, try it with 45A. It will work now. Dave.

    At 4:26 it says 0.1 to 5 seconds... So 0.4 seconds falls within this range ? Confused

    • @learnelectrics4402
      @learnelectrics4402  2 роки тому +1

      Some devices work for both 0.4 second ranges and for 5 second ranges. The 0.1 second is the standard a lot of manufacturers work to. Don't worry about it. Follow what the question is asking and you will be ok.

      This video is relevant to the blue book, it sounds like you have the latest Amendment 2 book, the brown one.
      Some appendices have been absorbed into other parts of the book.
      Go to LearnElectrics.com and type Amendment 2 into the search bar.
      You will get a list of all the Amendment 2 brown book help videos and direct links to the videos.
      Take a look at this video as an example.

      Thanks for watching, Dave.

    These are great, but there is a lot that is incorrect now in 2024. Every page number is wrong, some answers don't exist and harmonized colours has been deleted from Appendices

    • @learnelectrics4402
      @learnelectrics4402  9 місяців тому +1

      You are looking at the Amendment 1 blue book video, as shown on the first slide, and comparing it with the Amendment 2 brown book. The page numbers will be different. If you want all the Amendment 2 videos only, go to LearnElectrics.com and put Amendment 2 into the search box. All the video links and questions will be shown.

    How come the answer to Q7 of this video is A....?

    • @learnelectrics4402
      @learnelectrics4402  2 роки тому +2

      Because I made a typo. The question should be a 45A BS88-3 fuse.
      My apologies, but it does prove you are paying attention which is good.
      Thanks for this, and keep learning. Dave.

      This video is for the Amendment 1 blue book. If you are using the brown Amendment 2 book, search our channel for
      Amendment 2 or go to LearnElectrics.com and put Amendment 2 into the search box where you will get a list of all the Amd 2 videos and direct links for the videos with questions and answers.
