Baffles me that you can pay £90 for a book printed on tissue paper that doesn’t even have the page numbers on the contents for each chapter. Classic example of them having zero competition and producing the lowest standard product possible
I recently did an exam on Exporting goods. The book was a similar size to 18th edition and the same cost but it was so much better. The book had colour coded pages for each section , plastic dividers with build in Part tabs. Made the 18th edition book look a complete mess.

Interesting that you've been able to write the volt drop formula in the book there. My training provider has drummed it into us that we can get disqualified if we are found to have written any notes like that in the book. Also you mention a scientific calculator, apparently this isn't allowed now either, only a simple basic calculator. I realise this video was a couple of years ago, maybe things have changed in that time. Nevertheless I found this video really useful and will definitely check out that app. Thanks for making this video
Thanks mate because of your tips and the App I have passed today “Alhamdulillah” 😁 my next exam is the building reg the small green book any tips on that brother.
Hi mate, that’s great to hear. I’m really glad it helped! I haven’t got any tips on that but I’m going to upload a video on the 2391-52 in the new year if this is any good to you? 👍🏼
Hello mate good video ! I’m currently on the some path as you. Be nice to see some more videos, I’m currently looking at booking my 18th before moving onto testing and inspection
@Majid Abdul I did pass yeah… I didn’t smash it by any stretch of the imagination. Thanks for the advice, I wouldn’t have bothered with that app tho. It was superseded and had old questions in it 👍
@@monkscyas1022how did you revise for it though? Did you use a different website or app? And was it only using the 18th edition and just do the exam only online? I just pass my level 3 so I really need to know for this next step..

Hi, yes I’m on Apple devices, I’ve pinned the link to it if at the top. Not sure about the writing in the book, the examiners didn’t seem to have an issue with it.

Some good tips there for sure, definitely will me implementing the note tabs to speed up the search 👍. May be a silly question so appologies if so but is there any ideal order to get things done in the process of becoming fully qualified. Already have my level 3, month into working as an improver and just want to smash out the exam side of things asap. NVQ i understand will take time but is there any order with NVQ, AM2 and 18th? I'm guessing 18th may aswell be one of the last things because it has to be renewed?

Hey I have synoptic exam tomorrow. I know about the regulations and wires but I don’t what else would come up. Do u know where to get good info I’d really appreciate it
I've got this exam coming up but my lecturer told us specifically that you are not allowed to bring in BS7671 If you have written ink on it, so post-it notes are fine but we can't mark the book whatsoever so remember that if you are going to take the exam

DON’T write out formulas. If you see the C&G permitted notes for this exam it clearly states you are NOT allowed to write personal notes or formulas. If you do C&G have the rights to ban you from sitting any of there exams in the future for cheating. Just understand the risk of following his advice, even this video is all the evidence C&G need to take action.
