Over revving idle solved. Big problem found with ignition map unification

- While making small changes to the ignition map I discovered that MT09 tuners should never unify their ignition maps.
It turns out that the unification of the ignition maps was the cause of my ongoing over revving issue at idle.
You solved all of my f... problems I had with woolich!! There is not enough THANK YOU I can say. I have gone through all of your videos. On part 14, there is a possible solution for O2 sensor delete without the need of an external device to be attached on the bike to simulate the narrow band sensor. You already have one..

Glad I could help. The SP is extremely sensitive to the o2 sensor being disconnected. In pt14 I just wanted something that I could use to manually feed values to the o2 sensor circuit to see how the ECU reacted. Those delete bypass devices do exist to buy on ebay and other places.
I just wanted to really diagnose how the ECU interacted with the o2 sensor and the easiest way was to control the signal going into it manually.

I've got a '22 MT09 U.S. spec with the Woolich hardware as well.
Was curious if you've noticed that the different timing maps for different Modes don't actually work. In the software, you can set different timing maps for each of the 4 ride modes, however in reality, regardless of what Mode you've selected while riding, only the Mode 1 ignition maps are used, as confirmed by data logging.
Not really a super critical issue as most people probably don't care about different timing, but it would be nice to have say a lower timing map for crap fuel for example. Or for doing back-to-back testing of different timing maps.
Anyway, keep up the great work!
P.S. You're right about the ignition trim tables - the per-mode Ignition Timing maps (that don't quite work, lol) are for 6th gear, and the trim tables alter that for Gears 1-5.
I've left all of the other modes completely stock and never do any riding in them while doing logging. So I havent noticed that the mode 2, 3 and 4 ignition maps aren't different to the mode 1 but that's because I havent looked. I do like the idea of using the 2 modes to do back to back testing.
