MT-09 Gen3 Throttle Body Sync - The difficult things that no one will tell you about

So at every 10,000km (according to the Periodic Maintenance schedule in the service manual) we're supposed to check the throttle body synchronisation.
Determined to do my own services I obtained a synchroking mk4 in order to allow me to do the job.
According to every youtube video I could find it's a relatively straightforward and simple process. Sadly that's not true and there is a lot that is cut out of those videos to make them look easy.
The first is to make sure your sync gauges have 4mm tubes.
The next is that the vacuum caps are tiny and some of them can only be accessed by feel, they're easy to drop and easy to damage so i discuss an upgrade for them.
There are fuel rails, Injector cables, IAP vacuum hoses, other unidentified hoses, spark plug wiring and other sensors all positioned in the way making it almost impossible to access the vacuum nipples that you need to connect the gauge hoses to.

Hm. I bought a more primitive tool without a screen, this is not looking like an easy job though. Everyone on the Internet just repeats over and over again it’s a 20 minute job without actually doing it.
