Nice video - Does this plate have any orientation - it's a triangle, and it looks the same on all three sides, but is it? Does one particular edge go toward the front, or are all three edges the same?

WASHER IS STILL WALKING ... I REPLACED THE LARGE REAR COUNTERT BALANCE SPRING WHICH HELPED A LOT. MY PLATE IS IN THE CORRECT POSITION. WHEN THE SPIN CYCLE STARTS, THE CLOTHES MUST BE EVENLY REARRAGNGED FOR IT TO SPIN CORRECTLY. NOT SURE WHAT TO TRY NEXT
Okay, I did all of that and it still makes a noise on the spin cycle. Like a pop coming from the back area. It is quite frustrating to align this thing yet seems so easy.
I know everything looks easy on video and some things are easy. You should see how hard is for me to try to film sometimes a 5 minutes video could take 2 days or more. Because I work alone and I am trying to film the easier way for the people watching to learn how to do it. Noises are hard to diagnose. You need to try to isolate where the noise is coming from I use a piece of hose sometimes to try to ping point where the noise is coming from Take a video of the washer noise and send it to see if it is familiar to me Theapplianceman
It still looked a little off after you turned the plate when you put back together. It looked the same as when you took apart as when you put back together. Awesome video though!!
you need to put it the way I put it on 6:14 of the video. What happened is that I use the video on reverse when installing the motor and that is why it looks like that . If you just put it the way on 6:14 you will be ok sorry about that my bad angel
Why isn’t there a simple latch system from the factory that doesn’t allow it to move out of position , all that extra work taking it apart for a 3 minute fix is a design failure.
What an EXCELLENT video!!! Step by step, easy to follow, thank you SO much! 🫠👍👏👏👏
Thanks for this video. God bless you and give you move wisdom to share your knowledge 🙏🏽👍🏽
Thank you so much! I brought my washer down a flight of stairs then it started making a horrible shake. Yes, the plate moved out of position.

Okay...I believe I attached the video.

Like at 3:58 it looks off and the same as when took apart..
Looks a little easier than taking tub out etc..

@@theapplianceman no problem i was thinking that.. Awesome work!!!

After doing this now it doesn't agitate or spin please help
you probably didn't align the motor coupler properly - it's the plastic and rubber piece that separates the motor from the transmission.

Just think,if they weren't selling junk for durable goods prices this would not have been a problem in the first place.
Actually that washer is not junk... it's a direct drive which is top 3 of best washer designs ever built soooo try again😂
