NoLimits 2 has finally added a new coaster type! Have you tried this DLC out yet? What are your thoughts? Hopefully this is just the start of more DLC content being released for NL2. Which coaster types would you like to see?
For family coaster models: Vekoma family launch (Big Bear Mountain), Vekoma junior coaster, Gerstlauer family coaster (Firechaser Express), Mack Rides Family Spinner (Sierra Sidewinder), Mack Rides Youngstar Coaster (Flight of the Hippogriff)
This is what competition does. We finally got an update. Id gladly pay for proper switch track support so rides like Pantheon dont have to be hacked together to work.
After More Than 4 Years When They Added The RMC Model To The Game , Which Is Quite A Long Time , Probably Because They Had To Get Permission From Vekoma First To Be Allowed To Add It. But No Limits 2 FINALLY Has A New Coaster Model , And It's Extremely Well Done And Very Detailed. I Hope The Other New Generation Models From Other Manufactures Will Be Added Soon Too :)
Why would you? It makes sense for a game like Planet Coaster, but this isn't a game. The only thing they can (and should) monetize is better ensuite video recording options (which they do, and correctly)
I was a bit unsure when I first saw that this was a paid DLC, as I assumed it would be like every other coaster type in the game. But then I saw the amount of customization, detail, and special features this DLC comes with... Yeah, I have no issue paying $3.99. I'd say it would be fair to charge even more for it. $3.99 is an absolute steal
@@j-coasters Honestly, it's not a huge community to begin with and a lot of people would have bought the game a long time ago. I am not sure whether Ole Lange is making big bucks out of the game/simulator it really is a passion proejct from enthusiasts for enthusiasts, I am very happy to be supportive of that.
I’ve met Ole in real life- he’s a good dude and has made something incredible over the years that has made a huge impact with the community, and frankly the industry as a whole. He deserves way more than he has ever charged.
What does it look like when you load it up? This was recorded in the same park package that was uploaded… I guess another important question is this. Have you purchased and installed the new Vekoma DLC?
As far as I know, they stopped offering steam license keys for non-steam users several years ago. But it wouldn't hurt to still contact them and at least try.
Paid DLC?? Not cool. Just not cool at all. This isn't a game, it doesn't need it! (The only sensible DLC is the Pro Liscence, because obviously better video capture is something DLC works great for)
I'll offer my perspective, but first I want to ask what makes you feel that a paid DLC is okay in Planet Coaster, but not NoLimits 2? The DLC in both games serves the exact same purpose: to expand the current offering of coaster types players can use. Creating new content for both games takes a lot of resources, time, and especially money. It's worth noting that NoLimits 2 has officially licensed this coaster type from Vekoma. That license certainly was not cheap. They have to pay off the cost of adding this coaster type somehow. Are they supposed to go into debt to add a coaster type just because NL2 "isn't a game"?
People deserve to get paid for their work. Especially for continued development on software this old and specialized. Why do you think they should keep doing extra work for free?

@@SokobansolverYes! That’s one of the first the came to mind for me. It and the Mack Extreme Spinning Coaster.

Yeah. I tried my best a couple of months ago to make my first swing launch work and It ended up failing completely :(

Smooth as butter. Incredible ride and so happy NL2 gets some new updates!
A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.
Great layout as always!
I have been waiting for this for a long time!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, not even mad I had to pay. I will pay for new models if they continue this quality.

@@j-coastersDo you have to buy the Vekoma MK1101 to have the train type in the game instead of a older model train
Is it also available on the website or do they still hate the people that supported them since before they were on steam
steam only rn
You can contact them to obtain a Steam licence key.

It says on their Steam post you can still email them for a key which is nice.
