    Sweet design! It's like an updated Schwarzkopf for the Traveling German Fairs. And I love the circa 1994 pre-drop! What a compact, clever design! 😊

    I love the realism but something about a midcourse in the front of the layout blocking the sightlines of all the cool inversions is a little disappointing. Schwarzkopf was pretty big on putting all the loops front and center.

      Yeah, I wasn't totally keen on it, but placing the first MCBR in that location was effectively required to maintain good capacity. If I added more to the first section to wrap the MCBR around to the other side of the inversions, it would take too long for a train to clear that section, making trains get held up in other block zones.

      you could just put a bunch of stuff in front of MCBR, also putting a spinning (fun house style) tunnel on the 2nd MCBR would be nice

    If it was a little taller this would be a great addition for a small park.

    Very interesting concept and I am sure it would be fun to ride.
    But I think it would do as well as a traveling coaster as the first Vekoma coaster did. The track is just too big and heavy to be trucked around, and having to tighten a dozen bolts around each track joint likely doesn't help.
    But it's definitely a nice play on the "what if.." thought.

      It definitely wouldn't work well as a traveling coaster, seeing that Euro Star didn't travel that well either. Obviously, B&M theoretically could make changes to their track and supports to make transportation easier, but I'm not entirely sure how they would make the changes nor how i would implement them in NL2 since making changes to the track isn't possible in-game.

      @@j-coasters Euro Stqar worked pretty well from a travel perspective. What didn't work so well was that they had to squeeze the layout onto too small of a footprint. To make it a really great ride, they would have needed about 30 feet more on the long side and 15 on the short side. But then it would have been too big. So they tightened the turns, which gave you quite a bit of headbanging. I think with newer restraints that exist today, like comfort collars, it would be a lot better experience.

    Could an RMC Raptor make a good travelling coaster? (easy to assemble/disassemble, smooth, comfortable, good layout, etc)

    • @j-coasters
      @j-coasters  5 місяців тому

      From a structural standpoint, quite possibly. I think the only thing that might be a problem is capacity.
