    El Capitan is an RMC I-box Giga Coaster that features three LSM launches, various inversions, and 23 airtime moments. As you traverse the terrain, you'll hit speeds over 100 mph and drop over 300 feet, all while breaking the world record for longest roller coaster.
    This coaster was handbuilt in No Limits Coaster 2, and its construction was inspired by many RMC coasters such as Steel Vengeance, Zadra, Lightning Rod, and New Texas Giant. I had a lot of fun building this coaster and customizing the terrain. Also, I'm super impressed by the improved wooden support generator in this program. Let me know what you think in the comments!

    There’s not enough realistic coasters on NoLimits that throw budget out the window. This coaster is both realistic and very expensive, and that’s great. NoLimits UA-camrs always want to make coasters that are within a reasonable budget, and while that’s nifty sometimes, it’s like 90% of creations. Great job! Wish this was real.

      Hate to be that guy, but the construction cost and maintenance (on the trains, brakes, track, launches and support structure) of this thing would be inaffordable to Every single park in the world. This would obviously the best coaster in the world by far, but I have a feeling it'd be hundred(s) of millions of dollars in construction alone.
      The world just isn't ready for coasters like this, sadly :(

    • @braydenisstillhere
      @braydenisstillhere  3 роки тому +12

      Patrick yeah I definitely agree with you there😂 it’s definitely more of a dream coaster than anything. It very likely would be the most expensive coaster in the world with all the terrain and just the overall length of the coaster.

      by the lack of capacity alone, it wouldn't make any sense to build. a coaster of this scale would have to out-perform even the most efficient of coasters. Big Thunder Mountain(WDW) has a capacity of 2400 and cost about 1/1000 what this coaster would take to build. with a ride time of 3.45 min, 24 riders each. you would need to be running no less that 9 trains(smaller trains then Big thunder Mountain) at once. 12-15 trains is more likely. i saw, maybe, two midcourse block sections. great coaster, amazing elements.

    The movement and transitions are very realistic for an RMC, really impressive creation.
    The only thing I would change is I would add a slight bunny hill airtime moment after the drop rather than the long straight stretch over the water, that was the only bit that seemed a little un-RMC like to me.

    That double zero g roll into that drop would be such an incredible experience. That long straight away over the water really lets you experience the speed the train is going at the bottom of the drop instead of going straight back up a hill or some sort of small bunny hop that RMC has been doing. Those two elements combined really just put the icing on the cake for the coaster. *LOVE* it, great job!

      Thank you! When I built the track layout, the terrain was still completely flat, I just sort of imagined where the mountains and cliffs would go and based my layout on that. Then when it came time to create the terrain, I made sure I always had my terrain marker set anywhere from 16 points influence to 64 points influence depending on how rounded I wanted the terrain to be, and I just pulled the terrain upwards by hand until the track flowed well with it. And then from there I went in and painted different textures along cliffs and shore lines so it didn’t look as flat. A lot of trial and error!

      @@braydenisstillhere Thanks for the explanation! I tried many things to do a nice terrain (mainly trying different settings in the terrain generator) but I never got a good terrain and building it by hand I thought is way too complicated. I never thought about building the coaster first and then the terrain...probably because I'm not creative. I'll make sure do use the method on my next coaster 👍🏻

    bruh i gotta get nolimits 2 im using planet coaster rn and its good to a certain extent but coasters with a lot of twists and turns literally take weeks to make sure the transitions are smooth enough.
    that was off topic but i wanna say this is an amazing build
