For anyone wondering, the Liquidator parts for the mech also stack with the hardframe ones from a Trace of Metal
Yup and they get proximity buffs.
Pretty sure there is a bug where if you claim it in your expedition you cannot claim it in your main save, shows as already claimed. Hopefully that's fixed in the experimental so it ends up in the update.

Yeah, there's a bug stopping you claiming in your main save if you claimed in the expedition... Meant to be getting an update for it soon so I've heard...

Hi Jason! I have noticed that if you have the hardbody and the new liquidator pieces of the minataur and place then side by side you have an adjacency bonus. Same with the legs. Cheers! 👊
My parts are owned but when I go to install them they don't appear I am missing my upgrade from the trail of metal mission

If you claimed them in the expedition there's a bug preventing you from getting them after you return to your main save. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon (I have it as well).
I haven't left the expedition yet. Still in it until it's finish

@@ericdefay7198 check the quicksilver merchant on the anomaly, some have been glitching out if you use your main save though so be wary of that

I would like to suggest a returning players video. I played last in 2020 and I have to imagine even with 200 hours in and all my things it''s better to start over. Should we do anything first? what to see, what's changed. What we missed etc, basically a starting over guide and getting running quickly :-)
You don't actually need to join the expedition, you can just get it with quicksilvers.

I'm staying in the expedition till the very end. I don't know if it's by design but you can do Quicksilver missions on your primary save and in the Expedition save so you're getting double quicksilver everyday
@@winstonrenn6557 Yep, been doing that since I found about it a couple of days ago. Though, the quicksilver won't save to your main save but the items you buy with it will save.
@tacomctacov2622 actually the Quicksilver that I had left over from the expedition did go over to my main save.
@@winstonrenn6557 I just realized the quicksilver gets transfered to your main after pressing "end expedition". No wonder the only quicksilver that transferred to my main was 5 because I thought it won't get transferred.
@tacomctacov2622 I spent majority of it in the expedition too but I was getting stuff I wanted so it was all good.
Thanks Jason for explaining! I've looked into my main game and did not find the upgrades because I just looked in the expeditions' rewards, not in the creating exotics from quicksilver. Now is clear 🙂
I can't claim mine, it just says "already owned." But it also doesn't show up when trying to build it.

All the plans say already owned, but when I went to add the parts they don’t show up, do I have to have my mech already fully upgraded? Help 🙂↕️
@jasonplays there's a bug that when claiming liquidator blueprint parts it says blueprint unknown
Oddly I never knew you could go first person in the mech! Makes sense, but I just never thought about it before and always play in 3rd person
It would be cool if you did a video comparing the hardframe minotaur to the new liquidator minotaur. It would also be cool to find out whether the hardframe and liquidator technology buffs stack with each other.
You can get them from the quicksilver merchant if you finish expedition and in normal save (have to buy from them though)
I was unaware you could switch off the AI, I've been keeping mine stored in inventory unless I need it, which kind of screws up the whole look and vibe of the set. So thanks for that tip! Also, was going to comment how disappointed I was that you couldn't color the Liquidator pieces, and am relieved to learn it's a bug that will be fixed soon. Thanks Jason. 👍🏼
I unironically am a basic brian.
My multi tool weapon is the Bolt Caster.
My starship weapons are the Photom Cannon and Phase Beam on my Sentinel Ship.
All easy to use, hit scan at long ranges, can fire a long time. They dont have the massive DPS of other options but they gwt the job done and do it well. Phase Beam on my Sentinel Ships restores shields. Low stress setup.
I'm waiting for the 5th to be unlocked before running the expedition from my main save. I did start a new save and completed the expedition. 😮

You can simply pay quicksilver to get the parts if you finished the exped early
Ot when the phases arent finished yet so its waste of quicksilver
so what's the deal with only being able to change the color if you're in the experimental build? In the expedition, I can't change the mech color so it's just gray.
On Steam version for PC, the phase 5 community milestone still has only about 50% completed as of now. Still have to wait to get this milestone.
I can't get the parts on my prime-save (unless they all unlock after its over) but it feels like a bug??

Is it just me or does the new flamer thrower arm feel weak I am getting the mods for it to boost the damage s class ones bump damage by 200% each I have 3 atm

@@cjjm45 if it helps, i was able to get the parts back on my mech using a save editor, but there is no "fix". It's a known bug.
My game save says I already own it and will not let me build it.
The Legs get adjacency bonus from the engine module and the Body gets adj bonus from the AI-auto pilot module. The left arm has no adjacency bonus so far, not sure if it will pair with the right arm, doubt it. omg Jason get some upgrades geez!
Patch out. Exomech main save bug fixed in addition to now you can paint the Exomech. I already fixed my mech. You'll need to go to the anomaly Nexus and reclaim the parts at the Quicksilver vendor.
I unlocked it all but can’t install them on my normal save, they don’t even show up as options.

Does the new exo mech parts stack with previous hardframe upgraded parts? I know you can have both installed but are they getting bonuses or taking up precious limited slot space?

I started Liquidators on a previous save and just finished the last mission. Does the mech transfer back to my old save or do I have to rebuild it once I end the expedition?

For some reason I can’t install it, I did the whole expedition and collected everything on my normal save and then went back and finished it but the option to build it isn’t there
If you complete the expedition and leave. They added a resume expedition feature to the expedition terminal . So you can return to the expedition.

i found you can have the sentinel mech parts at same time as liquidator mech parts. the paralyzer mortar stacks
Yes but you wont have place for both the flame thrower and the cannon so you wull need to choose
@@danielstokker first of all flame thrower isn't out yet, and the cannon is a weapon from the base minotaur and not the sentinel set

base mech has the regular canon and laser
sentinel set adds stun projectiles and enhanced mining laser that stacks with the base laser
liquidator set adds a flame thrower and a second paralasys mortar that stacks with the sentinel paralasys mortar
I cannot install the pieces. I’ve claimed them in the Anomaly but when I click to install they don’t show up.
I've completed the expedition, claimed all the optional milestones, it's saying I own them in the quicksilver shop but yet they don't show up as being able to b built, like literally I have nothing else I can build, anyone know if this is a bug?

The only thing I can find is a reddit post that it is a bug.

Sadly I have the Liquidator Exomech bug because I used my main save during expedition. None of the parts can be built on my main save and the parts don't even appear for crafting although my alt account can build it just fine. Shows claimed in Nexus but the bug causes it not to be craftable likely because the blueprint was learned in the expedition rather than outside of it.

@@cosmo8412 A lot of people have this bug. Pretty much almost everyone that used their main save. Heh, won't do that again. So I am sure they ware working on it.
Not sure but i got all the parts, completed the expedition, but when i try to build it the blueprints aren't there. Does that mean that i either have to do the expedition all over again or do i have to wait until the expedition time limit runs out in 3 weeks.

Or play the expedition on a second save you can claim them from any save you play the expedition with including the fact you need to pay some attention yourself

Does this mean that the starship upgrades and multi tool upgrades I've earned so far update into my 60 hour save? Despite 60 hours of play I'm still learning
For some reason mine does not work, I'Ve not been able to install the new part on my blue mech, the other saves worked fine. I left a bug report hopefully something comes of it. I have not tried going experimental to see if that does anything, will try that next
What's the point of the the new armor if you don't get any actual armor buff from it? It's silly to me horrors can almost one shot a mech.
I think that is based on your core health and shields, mine has not died in one shot

Sorry for a stupid question, but is it possible to transfer all my gathered equipment (minerals, collectibles, multitool, spaceship) from the expedition save to my main save?
No. You can transfer 8 tech items and 28 other items from the expedition to the main save. And you can copy over your starship/multi-tool for nanites, but you lose the inventory on the starship. You use the expedition terminal for this.

I did the expedition through my main save, and when I return to the main save, the liquidator parts appear already claimed. But I can't build on my minotaur.
I haven't unlocked the hardframe parts yet, and I unlocked the minotaur blueprint in the anomaly. Do I have to do anything first to be able to use the liquidator parts on the minotaur?
I think it's a bug. If you started the expedition from an existing save then in that existing save specifically they are already claimed but you can't install them on the mech. Hopefully Hello Games will fix it.

How does the exo mech suit help you in game?
It's good for those completely inhospitable planets with death storms every 5 minutes, and it helps distract enemies with its AI turned on.

@@howdy9231 You first need to have the AI pilot upgrade in your mech, then scroll up to utilities/Enable Minotaur AI

I’m still a bit confused because I was grinding and killing so many sentinels and the swarm and the percentage was at 82% and then finally went up to 83% but from what I’m understanding from this video, it’s a community effort. So even though I already got exhausted and just ended the expedition will I still get that liquidator right arm when it’s completely finished?
Sadly no, hopefully you are an experienced player and can re run the whole expedition really quickly again to pick up the final piece.
It sucks my friend, these items should be an automatic unlock after the expedition finishes.
My advice, go start a new run and burn through it if you can.

Oh well, when I build up 2,400 quicksilver I’ll just do the glitch on the arm to get it for free basically which I should have but didn’t because I ended the expedition early
@@shadowspoon192 start a new game, when you do this you will be met with a screen, this screen will have multiple different ways to play NMS, select start expedition on the expedition image.
Expedition is not finished yet but it is finished for the character you have or your save that you did it on, you can start an expedition instead.

They changed the specs on the arms for the mech. the hardframe gear is better damage than the new expedition stuff. Its a crappy upgrade.

You can buy the milestone unlocks for quicksilver on your main save.
@@Svoorhout85 But we shouldn't have to buy or grind several thousand quicksliver to claim the mech parts because we finished the expedition early. It should be retroactively unlocked for free.
