I have an embarrassing vet story. I took Lola, my big red nosed pitbull for her yearly checkup, and they took her to trim her nails while the vet was looking at my other dog. When the tech brought Lola back she was wearing one of those vet slip leashes and Lola's bottom half was wet like she'd been washed off. Apparently the tech sat on the floor and put Lola in her lap to trim her nails, and Lola was terrified that she 💩 all over herself and the tech's lap 😳 I turned so red and all laughed so hard and i was happy to learn that it happens a lot. Her leash got covered too, and the tech had washed it and gave it to me in a plastic bag 😂
I totally get the noise thing! I wear AirPods in the cinema, honestly a game changer! The film is loud enough & all the annoying people are blocked out! I could literally cut my dogs legs off when they’re walking around my wooden floors lol, id get a carpet but our old dog pees on carpets. My husband crunches soup, ice cream, custard-HOW? He has a death wish lol x
Really enjoy these long videos a week offs. The repotting is the best part i feel is very relaxing. It must be hard to be so sensitive to alot of things. You are lucky you have supportive friends, family and your husband who understands you. There alot of couples and people who cannot stand that and end up in arguments. I am only sensitive to loud noise when i am sleeping and sometimes I cannot go back to sleep. Also i have to sleep in darkness if there is light it bothers me. I have nose allergies too which i have to use a prescribed nose inhaler cannot get rid off. I also did skin prick test which helps to eliminates things that you know can trigger it. Maybe your husband can do one too. Hopefully he isn’t allergic to pet hairs 😔
Don’t chop the baby herbs and stuff back they won’t grow back . Just put them deeper in soil when you transplant them 🥰 Iam glad the statistics are showing that we love the long ones 🤣 I do not enjoy content squeezed in a 25min video.
$500+ for a vet visit to get nails clipped doesn’t sound right whatsoever. I’m in the industry and I know how ridiculously expensive anything is, but that really sounds disproportionately expensive. Unless they’re also doing a whole checkup and administering medicine (the anxiety meds), it’s still wild though. Maybe look into working with a groomer next time? It probably will end up a lot cheaper, and groomers usually have more experience with stressed animals getting nail trims, since us vets don’t really “deal” with it other than doing it while the animal is sedated or whatnot.
It actually was for more than a nail trim! He got another dose of his allergy shot, had an ear sample analysis done, got some medications for a skin infection from his allergies, had his ears cleaned, re-upped on flea and tick meds, as well as his ear wash fluid and drops. I’m probably missing a few things too 😆
I want a Tortum. Put myself on a 35 dollar a month plant budget in January and have been sticking to it. May first is next week,, lol! As far as the unwarranted trolling bad comment, I learned a long time ago.... NEVER feed a troll, that's what they want more than anything. Hi yoli! I don’t use moss as a permanent growing medium anymore. The only one I’ve had growing permanently is my hoya serpens splash, and that’s only because it refuses to live in anything else but moss 😅

I have a Chinese crested with allergies. She licks incessantly too 😖 I wonder if it's just a bad habit, like biting your nails. I also wonder if it's self soothing for her, like sucking her thumb. She does a few things that annoy me but is the love of my life and I love her ferociously! I think that is how you feel about Pudge too. I get it! ❤🐾
I’ve had the elaphoglossum for much less time but if I had to choose one, I’d choose that one! The microsorum is also really cute if you’re more limited for space. But the Elaphoglossum really is stunning

Asparagus ferns do great in no drainage for me. However, whenever leaves yellow off it's a huge mess...

Which would you more likely recommend, as far as blue foliage goes : elaphoglossum metallicum or microsorum thailandicum?

The asparagus fern, I have one. I have no trouble with it. I keep it at ambient humidity. I water once a week. No special care.
I’ve heard the asparagus fern is an easier one to care for! I might try my luck with that one first before I ease into any other kinds of ferns 😄
