Just in travel costs, boarding and entry fees, good friends spent $12k for 9 rodeos in California the year after their daughter graduated HS. They had big stars in their eyes after a few placements in the HS circuit. And that wasnt accruing any cost for the truck or 4 horse slant. She won $128.00. Welcome to the NFL or rather WPRA.
Making a living with livestock is the hardest job to have many highs and lows emphasis on more lows than highs. You definitely need to have a side job to be able to keep going
