Hey Noobs, its your old fan Clammy Moob here. Bought the R3 last year after talking to you about it in the comments section (your channel grew up so fast!). Just needed to ask what software do you use to mix your video with the commentary? Peace!
I remember hearing about the head tap for “cops ahead” I was in a work trunk and saw a biker coming up quick, we had just passed a cop kinda hidden, so I gave few quick taps saw the thank you nod and hopefully saved a biker buddy a ticket from the boys in blue. Good times.

I finally got another bike after being bikeless for 8 years. Your videos have filled me with knowledge for years now. Thanks for all the good advice and entertaining content. Please keep up the good work and ride safe my dude. Peace.
It still amazes me how many riders, who have been at it for years, never understood the Low Five, a simple rider to rider greeting. They always felt it imported something was wrong, or was a gang sign
Hey Yam... The "Follow Me" and the "Right Turn" signals look exactly alike (unless I missed something). In my 25 yrs of riding, I've always understood that the "Follow Me" signal was to basically stick your left elbow out to the left and pat the back of your helmet a few times. Anyways, thx for the vid. Keep it up brother. Shiny Side UP from Phoenix!! :)
Thank you for making these videos. I’m a new, old, bike rider and appreciate all the help I can get....Because I want to be alive, to live, another day of riding.
Great stuff. Enjoy the vid! Just wanted to throw out random brain idea for you for episodes. How to be a passenger and how to ride to with a passenger. Doesn't happen to a lot of us, but seems important. Thanks for the great content as always!
Starting on a 125cc Lexmoto Titan and I absolutely LOVE it !! It's just complete freedom ! Going to be going back in 2020 to take my test for the A1 license. I want to get a Kawasaki 250cc dirt bike. Thanks for all that you do, your videos are fantastic. All the best from the UK. Always watch the ads so you'll get the ad revenue. Peace
I saw someone going in opposite direction do this a couple of days ago and had no idea what they were trying to tell me.....until watching this video. Great video as always.
Right and left signals are easier to remember if you just understand that you have to signal with your left arm, and you are trying to signal which direction you are going, while keeping your arm visible to the person behind you. You are pointing to the left? You are going to the left. You are trying to point to the right? You are going to the right.
Sticking out your right leg in Europe means you are greeting someone that you are passing on that side because he cannot see your left hand and releasing your throttle makes you look like a noob. What I also use to show my appreciation of the riding quality of fellow car drivers/riders is the 'wanker' signal or slapping the front of my helmet (Homer Simpson's 'Doh!')
My favorite signal to use is the "I'm fucking stupid", it usually comes after missing a turn or a near miss with a car. I shake my head a bit and with a closed fist knock on the side of my helmet. Usually always used after I have already given the "I don't know where the fuck we are" shrug and waving my left hand around in confusion.
I’ve been riding for 37 years, 9 of which I was a motorcycle courier and I have never heard nor seen 85% of these hand signals here in NZ. Love your channel Yammy but if I was riding with anyone who suddenly started gesturing like he was jacking off, pointing at his pants etc, well that would be the end of that ride.
I never imagined Yammie Noob's channel would become so successful after he went airborne. Going airborne off your bike is a signal to slow down and kill the inner Rossi child.
@@dillonosterhout1705 My best guess is that it's a test to see if anyone actually watches to the end. Since most people move on as soon as (what they perceive is) the end of the video.

And yes I have parking lot dropped it 3 tines and on ever broke the rear turn signal, but when the housing and light are new and you drop it at low speed, It would take it rather well the first time but never the second.
As a good practice I always use my hand signals in traffic situations it's just a good way to make myself noticed even though I use my turn lights all the time.
I can’t remember these because of all the group riding ones. I don’t group right yet, but I live in Arizona and i guess because it’s so bright people have a hard time seeing my blinkers during the day.
Is there a hand signal for when you approach a rest area that's known for being friendly towards casual gay sex in the men's room? Asking for a friend.
Cop here had some sport bikes in front of me. One turned around and do a rock motion from rock, paper, scissors. Not sure what this means. I just gave a 🤙back which seemed like an OK response back.
Yammie, love the channel. I feel like I'm learning a lot about saftey and 2wheel culture. Living in Vietnam my arm was twisted to learn to ride a motorbike. I bought a used manual bike. After watching this video I would wonder what you would think of my first bike. I say first because I'm pretty sure I'm not going to drive a car in a very long time.
I think one that could be really useful on group rides it the signal used in the armed forces for 'on me'. You take your left arm and bend slightly at the elbow, creating a C shaped claw with your hand by having your fingers slightly spread with your thumb pointing down. Cup your hand on top of your helmet and there you go. You've signalled 'on me'. Another possible useful one would be 'rally up'. To do this push your left arm out, create a 90-degree bend at the elbow pointing up, clench your fist and point your index finger out. Do a circular point at the elbow and doing this a couple of times. This could be used for when you need to close the gap, maybe when coming to a stop ahead or when traffic builds up ahead. Should above a ripple effect in large groups when you need to come to a stop. It can be similar to 'slow down' but creates more a distinction between 'speed up' and 'slow down'.
Tapping the helmet can also let others know, that there are emergency vehicles on the road - like ambulance and fire trucks - at least that is something we do in Germany.
