His face when he sees her sitting in his pew. "She can not be mine and here she sitts in my pew, next to me...at a f...wedding." He takes a second before sitting. ❤
I was so mad at her for not telling the truth.… but in the end, I was overjoyed to see their HEA!! Your fanfic is the best!! I just finished reading it. ❤
I love how Augusta asks Charlotte to sit beside her. And then that awkward scene with Alexander and Charlotte sitting side by side: Alexander: Mrs. Wheatley said there was something you wished to tell me. Something you could only say in person? Charlotte: I simply came to say a last goodbye. That is all. NOT !!!!! CHARLOTTE, THIS IS NOT TRUE !!!! IN A MILLION YEARS, THIS WILL NEVER BE TRUE !!! And then Alexander looks at Charlotte: OMG, the intensity of his gaze is to die for. They are so near and yet so far from discovering the happy truth that awaits us all: THEIR LOVE WILL FIND A WAY !!!!! ❤❤❤😄
This entire wedding scene is hilarious--very Jane Austen-ish! One of the best wickedly-subtle nuances in the short exchange between Charlotte and Alexander sitting beside one another is when he says, "I'm pleased to see Mrs. Parker recovering well," and Charlotte responds, "So am I." (Did anybody else watching this scene catch that?! I missed it at first--just like Alexander does! I watched a repeat and caught it and laughed!) That was Charlotte's confession to Alexander that SHE WAS RECOVERING FROM THE BREAK-UP WITH HER "BETHROTHED" RALPH!!! ALEXANDER MISSED THAT SUBTLE HINT! Ok, so now here's the crushing line... Alexander: "Mrs. Wheatly said you had something to tell me that you could only say in person?" LVFOL (Laugh-Very-Friggin'-Out-Loud!!!) These 2 are sooo close and yet sooo far in this (wedding) scene!!! Excellent scene by the screenwriter! :)
These two were so frustrating in this scene. 😂 Alexander’s face at her “last goodbye” is so “WTBloody F?! I wish it occurred to Georgianna that Lady Lydia’s engagement would hardly be a secret if she was marrying the guy her mother wanted her to.
She should have casually said, "Oh, well, I'm leaving for Ireland to visit my sister since I broke things off with Ralph and my bestie said you were engaged to Lady Lydia".
Yes I did not like the fact Charlotte didn't say anything ie I hear your engaged to Lady Lydia. Thought that and her leaving was flat but I know it was all the lead up to the cliff top scene.@@MusicMuse83
Love, Pain, Choices & Challenges 💜💜💜The church looks stunning, and Lady Lydia's mother is making me anxious & annoyed ! With all of the misunderstanding, things will happen, despite the difficulty, and you will find your passion and love. This is why I adore Jane Austen's books. Xander and Charlotte go and talk to each other alone already and discuss how the future is going to be great, with love and respect.💜💜💜
Hi Susan and Sanditon fans! (Can I say how much I love reading all of your comments!!!) Looking for some clarity and insight… Does anyone have an idea about the subtext of what Lady Lidia says? “Perhaps, you should build one” (referring to the church)… AC: “I would certainly consider it, if the occasion demands it” … and then Charlotte decides to leave immediately after Lady Lidia’s and Ac’s comments …. Trying to understand Charlotte’s reaction to their comments…..Any thoughts? Cheers
I think the reason Charlotte leaves right away is that it feels to her like their conversation is romantic banter. Remember at this point, Alexander has no idea why Charlotte is still in town, and he has no idea that Charlotte believes he’s engaged to Lydia. So him saying that about the chapel might be a cue to Charlotte, that were he to marry her, he would build a chapel. 😂 Others may feel differently, but I felt Charlotte’s pain at that conversation. ❤️
Yeah, I was always confused about the talk of building a chapel. I wondered if Lady Montrose knew at this point that Lydia was already engaged. It seems like she still thinks Xander and Lydia are a possibility. I heard there was a deleted scene where Lady Montrose was talking to her children and saying if they wouldn't marry rich, she'd have to do it herself.

These two can say so much with there eyes! ♥️👏🏼♥️👏🏼♥️👏🏼♥️👏🏼♥️
So sad to see Sanition end, but it was absolutely an amazing series. I loved it. The acting, scenery and music, fantastic!
I fell the same way. I hope the three seasons run again this summer.
I agree! They need to advertise this series more!
WE WANT MORE SEASONS PLEASE
Susan, I was already grateful for your videos. Now I'll be even more grateful to look them up when I need an escape from reality.
SUPER FANTASTIC MOVIE'S IN 2023, THE BEST. BRAVO 👏
I love how Augusta asked Charlotte to sit by her, knowing that Zander would have to sit beside Charlotte. Oh, the drama.
I love how quickly Colbourne corrected Tom’s “our plans”
I am compleatly hooked of this couple ❤ love your videoes so much 🥰

Really - Georgiana got it all wrong in telling Charlotte of Lydia's engagement - wrong gentleman-
These two were so frustrating in this scene. 😂 Alexander’s face at her “last goodbye” is so “WTBloody F?! I wish it occurred to Georgianna that Lady Lydia’s engagement would hardly be a secret if she was marrying the guy her mother wanted her to.
Jumping to conclusions without full knowledge since the regency period. 😂 Some things that should change don't or are way too slow.

@@susanfirth9883 Thank you Susan for taking the time to respond. I get it now… and thank you for all the videos! They are all amazingly ❤

@@lindybjork2712 I would love love to see all the deleted scenes- it would be amazing!!!
@@maddissonstratford9407 Me, too!
I ❤ the Movies. WOW 😍 SUPER
Gracias!
The Montrose s gave me the creeps 😮😮😮.
This group of scenes is so painful to watch.
The governess was for Xander not the girls 😮❤❤❤
I notice that Augusta is looking at her uncle with newfound appreciation. Considering ehere they were an episode ago......
Maybe she finally realizes she is not an " intolerable burden" now!
