Yes, there is a point where you can breathe outside, waaaay off but it's there. Be prepared to remodel periodically, there's a bigger compartment and several buildings attach to your buildings. Really hope you keep up the grind to get to the new stuff, you are gonna love it. Thanks for linking Autumn's youtube channel I had no idea she was playing Hogwarts Legacy!
You can take fall damage, but you just eat more food to heal back up. Once you make the jet pack it becomes mostly irrelevant because you’ll be using that ALL the time (would be nice to be able to just toggle it for hover mode since it has infinite fuel). Don’t forget you can build upwards as well with indoor ladders, and try to consolidate your storage in one central location as much as you can. Later in the game when you have the autocrafter, organization isn’t as important because it will draw from any storage, but only within a certain radius. Not sure if it’s just a horizontal radius or if it’s spherical but my old base was 4 stories tall and with the autocrafter on the ground floor it could reach storage on the fourth floor. Great gaming though, been a long time fan and subscriber and enjoy all your content! Keep up the great work!
Hey Kage, after a certain stage, you are able to run around all the time outside and don't have to mess with oxigen. You just make a breathing apparatus. That game holds some cool secrets after the last update, you'll be amazed by them ;) Much fun finding out. Love your channel, keep on going, you have gained a new follower from germany. Thanks
Hey Kage, don't be in too big a rush to open every golden chest you find. Their content gets better as the game progresses. Also note that you can edit the label on the cabinets. Just click on the '...' panel on the front. Player's choice of course, but for me, interior walls just get in the way of getting where I want to go.
Thanks for introducing me to this game, download the demo to see and I played it for 5 hours straight to bought it there and then, keep up the good work man!
Grows those Beans, they are the uber food. You looted two Bean packages, that will give you endless food. You cannot remove doors and walls, my advice is do not put up any walls so you can reorganize as you expand.
The communication antenna and transmissions screen just gives you lore and hints. (Although what you actually get is a radar antenna; most communication antennas are static.)
I am playing catch up right now, so I'm sure that by now you know, but yea, you will get to a point where you can breath the air on this planet without worrying about having to find a shelter to refresh your tank. Except underwater, there you will still use the oxygen in your tank, otherwise you'll be able to breath everywhere above water. I don't remember exactly when you reach that point, I don't remember every getting a notification for it either, just that below your oxygen meter there will appear the infinity symbol. When you see that symbol you'll never have to worry about air again - above water anyway.
I'm with you on the walls. Plus you can't hang things like the Monitors on the glass wall. So, give us a wall that is solid and can hang things on. I've been back playing this one too and am a bit further along then you are as of this video. You're in for some delightful surprises. Cheers.
Oh and the rockets help a ton as early as possible. They at multipliers to your teraforming. For example 1000% to O2, Heat, Biomass and so on for each rocket sent up. Last time i checked there was no limit.
Rockets are additive though, so each additional one gives less of a boost. 1 rocket = 1000% (10x), 2 rockets = 2000% (2x 1 rocket), 3 rockets = 3000% (1.5x 2 rockets) etc Also some rockets call down meteors providing you with Iridium, Uranium and Osmium. The launch platform will tell you what each rocket spawns.
Would suggest holding off on those gold chests if you want better supplies in them because as your planet advances so does the supplies in the chests edited to add do yourself a favor and make individual storage for each resource with extras for overflow, label on front
Spoiler alert for new people there is a breathable atmosphere in the game also I highly recommend building all the screens because it will tell you the next stage, what notes lead to secret bases, where to find certain items
no dont eat the squash or the eggplant eat beans gives most like 60 gives you alaways save the mushrooms and eggplants and squash cause there is beans in the under ground base that is close to your base there is ladder going down in ground and there is some walls if you delte them reveal hidden rooms with more
yes there is point and time you can breathe air and drink water straight our of the lake also if you get the rocket sent up it multiplies everythjing by 10 x each rocket sent up
For a very short time there was simple wall (a perfect divider for making rooms) but it caused bugs so was removed- I miss it so much There is fall and asteroid damage so be cerfoul
I love this game but it has the problem of upgrades being almost useless. When you upgrade something and you can barely notice any difference... the developer is fucking up. In my opinion. [edit: I'm talking about upgrades to tools and other suit mods you find through blueprints mostly. Sorry if that wasn't clear.]
Things coming from terraforming have very substancial improvements. If your are speaking about boosts coming from blueprints, yes, i reckon they have a limited impact.
Every upgrade Kage has done has made a massive jump and he has been at pains to point that out to us. Veggie tubes, solar panels, drills, heaters. All gave huge increases.
Get rid of your tier 1 solar panels and upgrade them to tier 2. It only cost like 1 more resource and gives you more than double the power

Kage, the black panel on the front of the storage is a SIGN that you can customize to organize better. Glad to see you back in here!!!

Is more like a trigger, so that is is playing the game more often 🤞🏼🤭

This is a definite purchase, just because you're not wasting time fighting aliens. I like building things. I don't like fighting.
Great series so far. I'm always happy to see someone else playing the game. It's so underrated and so much fun. Look forward to future episodes. :D
The loot you get is variable on when you loot it-you get better loot when the terraformation stage is higher.
Superb gameplay friend👍👍

@Michel Jolicoeur I guess should ass that the meteors come down centered on the player, so I usually run to an open area once I launch the rocket

Make the jetpack, it will make everything a lot easier and faster
Kage, Beans are the best food, others are for crafting.
Until you get honey, anyway.
You'll get a 2x2(4 section) room soon, don't forget. You've got a ways to go before you can breath outside.
I remember at some point you'll also get a larger room... maybe you should wait till there to start organize things....
Spoiler alert for new people there is a breathable atmosphere in the game also I highly recommend building all the screens because it will tell you the next stage, what notes lead to secret bases, where to find certain items
Ummm actually, lol kage, there is a device you craft later that reduces oxygen use and when you get to insects or fish, you do get infinite oxygen 😉
at one point you can breath outside. it was in one of the patches.
it takes some time but eventually you dont need to worry about the o2 ;)
The seed that's green gives the most food in the food grower
Thats the beans, they give 60, until you unlock the Super food that gives 90.
no dont eat the squash or the eggplant eat beans gives most like 60 gives you alaways save the mushrooms and eggplants and squash cause there is beans in the under ground base that is close to your base there is ladder going down in ground and there is some walls if you delte them reveal hidden rooms with more
I may be wrong but I think you can jump over some of the ice and get osmium a little earlier. It doesn't have to be completely melted.
Dont get the gold crates till late game. They scale with your character
The loot inside scales with your tech level. Early game half the loot is normal ores.
All crates scale.
You actually can get to breathable atmosphere towards end game, it came out a few months ago
I've heard that there is a mod that will allow you to pin a recipe to the screen so you can see whether you can build it and how many you can build.
yes there is point and time you can breathe air and drink water straight our of the lake also if you get the rocket sent up it multiplies everythjing by 10 x each rocket sent up
You def get infinite oxygen at some point!
Another great video
For a very short time there was simple wall (a perfect divider for making rooms) but it caused bugs so was removed- I miss it so much
There is fall and asteroid damage so be cerfoul
I've seen no asteroid damage. Even let one hit me. Maybe cause it just makes you hungry, hehe.
@@GUNNER67akaKelt Hunger & health are one and the same thing in this game but any stat that gets to 0 will kill you anyway
Well its confirmed, kage is a chest guy
Hmmmmmm I'm struggling with power. Oh hey I just unlocked a nuclear reactor! Eh that's not important.
Did you ever remember to put a beacon on your base in your episodes?
yea finally more !
lol @Kage848 where you building your home base at gets cover by lake way on up into the game
Not to give a spoiler. But never say never.
erm, you can breath the air and drink the water later it will unlock
Still deconstructing chests?

@@shadmtmtn1603 Yeah. Talking about the blueprints. Upgrades to tools.
I cant stand that nothing stacks in this game.
