Fun thing about the larvae! If you synthesize something you don't want (such as bee larvae), you can put it in the recycling machine to get your mutagen, uncommon larvae, and fertilizer back.
Also, the things in that "early game supply chest" behind the waterfall could be good things to throw into the recycling machine to get resources back.
Finally after what feels like a long long time, RCE back with planet crafter . (Or terraform some OG veiwers of the series know ) . Love this . RCE using structures in strongest shape , over engineering his way to make bridges , and egg plants . Keep them episodes coming , Matt .
Two things you may want to do: 1. Replace all your T2 miners with T3 and T1 gas extractors with T2. It's never fun to deal with random resources which with drones translates into a lot of red button clicks on a Shredder. You'll have enough of that with Water Life Extractors. 2. Build more drones and automate delivery of everything. It's so satisfying to watch them run around and deliver stuff for you and your auto-crafters. This also makes it possible to setup two chests with food and water anywhere you go. Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to automate delivery of eggplants or any other grown food, though. Only crafted one.
I love that you actually go back to older videos when they update them, alot of older you tubers seem to abandon their original games they started playing

9:50 casually telling the devs they have a big mistake in their game... also if I remember correctly when you start the game the planet has a temperature of 0 Kelvin. which is the theoretical lowest possible temperature but should be impossible on a planets surface.
There's also automatic crafting in the game now, which can save you a lot of time too. Set up automatic crafting for drones and watch your army of drones multiply itself!
Drones makes it so much better in lategame. Just put down an ore extractor T3 (no more useless side resources) and let the drones collect all the resources to a locker. you can also put down an auto crafter near the ore extractor T3 to get some rods out of the resources and let the drones do all the carrying. they really are a gamechanger. Unfortunately they can't pickup stuff from the ground/water so you still need to gather the eggplants by hand. maybe they will change it in a future update.
Mat you're such an architect sometimes. But since you haven't played this game for a while ill help you remember some things. You can hold "control" when moving a set of one item so you dont have to click on each individual one. You can recycle the bee larva you built that you dont want and anything else basically. You should build more t3 extractors to get the resources you need. Built more teleporters across the map so you dont travel the distance everytime.
Another tip would be to quit waiting until he runs out of power to build more power generators. Better to just build a new generator every once in awhile while building other things instead.
As much of a Timberborn addict as I currently am, I love that RCE has come back to this game. I added it to my Steam library about a month ago, but have yet to play it much (thanks again to Timberborn). And we definitely need a follow-up to this; I want to see what that huge drill is capable of.

As far as I remember, the Devs made a special build of the game for RCE to make it run that good - essentially they turned the whole bridge into more of a single asset instead of several tens of thousands. Eggplants do not grow like that (unfortunately?) They are a member of the nightshade family and grow more like a tomato except with poisonous thorns on the stems. Some of the older heirloom varieties are somewhat smaller and have an off white skin to them hence the name eggplant. Literally a plant that looks like it's growing eggs.
I think from now on when I go check out a new ship (or an old one that the dev has refilled), I'll build a teleporter at the entrance. Save all that going back and forth. Or else maybe a drone station. Do storage lockers have to be within a distance of a drone station in order to transfer their stuff via drone? I'd guess so otherwise you'd just need one, right? Incidentally I DO know how long it takes to make these videos, because I play Planet Crafter!
Matt, I think it's time you invest in the autocrafter. With the addition of Drones, it makes mid and end game play so much more fun. You can free up all the time you spent doing farming (although, not actually farming, yet) to craft and explore more. I will say that doing that, you will NEED the miner 3, so you can select what to mine, which removes the need to cleanse the miner inventories.
Worms fall out of your pants… meaning they spawn around the player, and are always behind you… walk backwards in an area where there isn’t a lot of machines or plants and they will spawn before your eyes

I created 10 so far.... I need another 12. Unfortunately.. after 3 hours I haven't been able to create more.. yet. I will give it another 12 hours before I give up. The recipe is.... NOPE! Glad to see the Planet Crafter series again, ended up getting to the fish stage a couple months ago and have been awaiting this update to be released from dev version.
So now I'll play for a few hours collecting uncommon Larvae, THEN I'll update for Fish. Coz if you can't find uncommon within a few minutes than it's part of the update

If you only supply the main ore from each drill, won't they eventually fill up with the alternative ores? Like the sulfur one will eventually fill up with iron since the drones are only taking the sulfur out.

Works for the fish eggs your water life collector picks up as well. You never have to make fertilizer or mutagen t3 as long as you’ve got a couple 👍🏼

@@LanceMabu It is if you have a very powerful machine, not so much on even 3 years old parts.
I wouldn't rely too much on that though. I have built several infrastructures like this and the lag is real.

You only need one drone station at the moment. They serve the whole map.

A really good way to store things like super alloy is to make rods out of them, then store the rods
For worms, DO NOT go fast, walk in the area.
And safe, turn off the game and restart again. Sometimes it gets stuck on not creating them anymore.
I've found that sometimes you just need to walk backwards then they render appropriately. The devs know about this and are working on a fix.

Is the infinite oxygen a mod or can you actually get a breathable atmosphere? I haven't progressed that far
There is an apparatus that makes the atmosphere breathable.

I think if you attach a navigation module chip thingy onto you suit in one of the slots, it'll bring up a compass at the top of your HUD.

You should start using the autocrafters to make infinite resources very quick. Also, the more drones you'll craft the more mats you can easily get.
I finally got to fish tier on my own planet and have all but one achievement unlocked. How is everyone else doing?
