How is the min and max insertion length calculated? You say that the min insertion is greater than the max. Do you mean that the protruding part of the seat post is between 152mm and 255mm.
Sorry, I might have mixed things up in the description. The seat post has a printed min and max insertion marks directly on it so you can visually see them - they are based on Ergon's safety testing. I believe I meant to say the min / max are quite generous so even though this is a 353 mm seatpost (and not a 400 mm) you can still set it up with 255mm exposed seatpost at the min insertion point. What is shown here in the video is a bit above that min insertion point.
Assembly paste is the opposite of what you're describing, it's supposed to make sure the parts won't shift against each other and in the seat tube.

The person who purchased the canyon may list it on eBay or other sites, so you can buy it there to keep costs down. That is how I obtained mine.
Since when did anyone sit down on big jumps ? I'd use this on an MTB no worries.
Ehh.. you never know 😂
Nice post but $299 is up there
About 150€ when on sale.
It's pricey, but on-par with Kinekt and other suspension seat posts. As with most cycling product you'll want to try to buy them on sale.
Welp. Well over that weight limit
Assembly paste does the exact opposite brah 😂
That is the original seatpost, Canyon copied its design from. And as opposed to Canyon's copy, the Ergon original works and stays in place.
Neither company copied the other, they collaborated on this in the first place.
Yes, I believe you are correct. Ergon licensed the design or co-developed design with Canyon and has now made it available directly through Ergon.
@@TheSweetCycliststhe owners of canyon and Ergon are brothers
$300? Nope 👎
