It feels like Olafur's compositions can speak to our anthropogenic nature, meaning that they can bring out the need/state of an instant katharsis from all bothering weights being faced, as well as make you feel human and part of a bigger/vast picture for a moment. A big thanks Olafur

Pff, how fitting that a track called dalur helped me battle my depression and helped my climb out of it. In my language we have a saying that goes: door een diep dal gaan. It's about coming from a dark place and having the courage to get on with your life. dalur means valley or dal in my native tongue. So to find strength in a song with a name like that is really something.
This is a ridiculously admirable talent. I would never dare to compare Ólafur's music with other composers'. He's a truly talented man. So glad I'm alive to listen to his songs.

It's 3am. I woke up from discomfort in my stomach. I can't fall back to sleep as well because of my thoughts- of the past and loneliness... I feel unease. By visualising this video while I am playing the music really soothes me...
