Wow… you described music perfectly. I will remember that forever
His accomplishments at such a young age are incredible. Oddly enough he started off making music for the death metal band "Heaven Shall Burn". He made the intro and outros on some of their albums. The two songs I know of off hand are Risandi Von and Deyjandi Von from the Anitgone album. If you like his work I would suggest looking up these songs for a peek at some of his early work when he was still in his teens incredible stuff.

This man, his music, remind me that Art is no dead. In a world so full of brute and primitive rage and anger, his melodies feel like a ray of light, that breaches through the darkest clouds, reminding us that beyond this dark and wretched place, above what we see, there still is the sun, shining and smiling at us, waiting for us to come home. This album reminds me of wonderful times in my grandparents house that they built, warm winters by the fire after a day of sledding, cool evening breezes in the summer with the scent of old fashioned roses wafting in through the homemade curtains, the smell of my grandpa woodshop and the beautiful music he listened to as he created art from wood…..
Thank you for bringing back all these memories wrapped in these peaceful, graceful, songs.
This music is so touching it made me feel angry sad motivated everything all at once makes me see myself in my happy moments and also in sad moments of my life that makes me think there is still hope for me and gotta keep pushing and never give up. This is art.

When I listen to this music it shows me the beauty of my soul and that I still have so many things to learn in this life. For example, that I should give my parents the love that they could never give me, because that way they can look at life a little more positively. You have been through so much in your life - and every time I look into your eyes I feel their imprisonment in themselves. It is time that I give you what you could never learn by reflection. These feel to me like a songs for my heart, my soul, my son - who was stolen from me after he told people about abuse by (the same person readying to snatch at the right moment). All authorities failed us so so terribly, then became abusers by proxy capitali$ing on the trauma.
My sweet sweet Mama’s boy was alienated & brainwashed so easily to ‘hate’ & ‘fear’ me by the one person I would never ever dream would do this to our child (as he himself had such a traumatic high conflict childhood that I thought for years my love, loyalty and pushing for professional help could heal).
From the first day he was kidnapped to now the 2,674th since he’s been home, it has felt worse than death over & over again. At least with death, there’s room for moving on, for healing, people understand & empathize, you have faith that there’s no more suffering and a place to go to “visit” with passed loved ones.
Everyday without my son it feels daily like an unrelenting prison of grief. Only fleeting moments of joy. I thank my ancestors for the unknown strength to go on without him, yet barely surviving the traumas we’ve endured by those who were supposed to protect us.
Not a day goes by without thoughts of my boy, his happy face, his hugs, his singing, his cries, his joy, his curiosities, his pure positive potential, how much he loved me, how much we laughed.
So much pain & loss no mother & child should ever suffer as if it’s Berlin 1933, not the good ol USA w/ a 14th Constitutional amendment that’s supposed to protect us.
I know I shall never be whole again without the return of my child at whatever age he’s able to safely come to me with open arms 💔❤️🔥 🖤 💀

There is a complete film, but I remember one picked my attention, that he wrote when his grandma died. I can see what kind of feelings he should have had!
I could cry forever as this music comes deeply out of my soul. Sitting behind my piano. Being one of triplets and feeling the deep connection beyond words. Thank you Ólafur. I was a few times on Iceland and I can feel the depth and the truth coming ....... and connecting. Thank you through the tears of my existence.
