I don't know why but I tend to forget about Olafur from time to time. But I like it. Every time I'm coming back it hits harder.

Olafur's music is breeze to the soul! I always thought For Now I Am Winter is his best album but I was wrong and this is equally amazing.
Witnessed his Near Light in person last week. An incredible experience, for lack of better words.
One of my favorite album... so beautiful and peaceful at the same time. It's amazing how it send you into a whole different reality when you're listening to it.
If you love Olafurs music, and I do ( lucky to see him in Bristol and then miss him by days in Bridport) you will love Oly Ralfe - Notes From Another Sea. Sublime - just played it now and reminded me to share. Started to write some pretentious nonsense that didn’t do it justice - just play it.

My boyfriend would play this as we cuddled. I lost him three days ago. I'm so lost without him.
I hope you can still find the peace you used to feel with him. Remember we are all part of the same destination so it might be hard to understand now or even in ones lifetime but you should know that someone you cant see or feel cares about you and talks to you throught your feelings and memories. I was really moved to connect to you and give you these words, dont really know where they are coming from as I write but I do hope they make you feel better as well as this music. @@MsSkyrider Thank you. I really appreciate your words. A friend of mine and his father gave me a talk, helped me find a path to be able to move forward. Things are changing rapidly. I'm still hurting, of course, but I feel a little better knowing that there is a path to tread. The journey has only begun. I once had a talk with my boyfriend about this, what we would do if one of us passed away early. I never expected it to be this early, but I promised him that I would live my life for the both of us. See the world, meet new people, learn of different cultures. And, I will honor that promise.

lets be honest guys there are a few gems from arnold's, but the majority of his output is padding, same with o'halloran. The formula does blend into a dreary sameness after a while. This style of music is special but does not hold up a whole playlist

It's due to the recording being on a "live" stage and not a studio. I don't mind it makes it more real.
