Good to see the next gen of Cunard coming up and enjoying the traditions. Two hints: If you’re paying the premium for Princess Grills (or Queens) don’t bother spending extra for alternative dining. The PG restaurant is excellent as is. Also, never show your cabin card online because it has your confidential Booking Reference # and you should keep that private. Great to as you embrace the dress code too. Great job!
Thank you! We know that the Princess Grill is a great restaurant however we wanted to experience the alternative dining as well as it was something unique to Queen Anne. In terms of the cruise card you can't access anything using the card information we made sure to wait long enough that the booking reference was removed. The dress code was something we like about Cunard it was great dressing up for the occasion
Great video guys, nice to see you got to meet Jamie too. Jealous that you got to check out SS Rotterdam - we did it a few years ago and are hoping to do it again next year...even if Dan did nearly die of boredom during the engine room tour 🤣 we look forward to seeing more of your content!
yes I spent 23 nights on Cunard Queen Victoria Southampton to the Caribbean and yes it was very formal hence you need to try anthem of the seas they have bumper cars and I fly and wave rider your vlogs are just awesome keep them coming the 2 legends
Just found your video, and it looks like we were on the same cruise as each other! Glad to see that you guys had a great cruise - we were so lucky overall with the weather on that cruise - I see you also captured that amazing sunset!
Met you two last night at Jamie's meet. I'm 'Holiday Hev's' husband. What a great evening. Subbed to your channel, will check out your content over the weekend. :-)
Not sure I would do much speciality dining if you’re a Princess Grill passenger. Meals there are outstanding and if there is something not on the menu you like they will make sure you are well looked after. Traveled on Queen Mary 2 from NYC to Southhampton in 2023. March 2025 travelling from Singapore to Cape Town on Queen Anne in Princess Grill. Can’t wait. Glad you boys had fun on your cruise. Cheers
Good to hear that you did dress smartly for boarding. Although the dress code isn’t as strict as most people make it out to be, there is no reason why you can't dress up if you want to. You don't need to dress down to the minimum. We're only interested in QM2 Crossings, which might be a bit more formal, but I certainly don't feel out of place wearing a tux every night, and suit and tie at other times apart from the gym and the pool. My wife has so many glitzy gowns and cocktail dresses that don't get worn much, so she takes one for each night of the 14 night B2Bs.
Well done mentioning the added service charge and roaming switch on whilst on land. It seemed you had a good time and did not feel out of place. I always say age is just a number and does not define you.
This is the stateroom we will be in! Love your videos extremely helpful. It’s likely that we may well be given the same restaurant table in Princess Grill. Did you have a window seat or near one ? Was the shower good? Hope you can help. xx
We were with our friend so it was a table for 4 and it was just to the left as you went into the restaurant so just a table away from the windows but you could get some great views from the table! The shower was very hot and powerful so no problems there!
The dress code isn’t as strict as most people make it out to be. Gala nights are typically when everyone dresses up and just smart casual in the evenings. Lots of different dining venues on board so lots to try. 100% try Aranya and the Wellness Café above the pavillion. Lots of entertainment on offer so you’ll always find something to do and most of all enjoy yourself its your holiday after all!
Really didnt like cunard. Ship is great. Drinks service is appalling in regular class. Food was meh. Kids club was great whuch was the only positive and daughter loved it
Oh? Whenever we were elsewhere on the ship the drink service was still immaculate. The food we found to be great no matter where you dined as well sorry to hear you didn't like the ship

Just reduce or remove the voluntary service charge
Fair enough!

@YoungatSea I liked the ship! Just didn't like cunard. Preferred p&o and MSc.

Not for me, at their age I was racing yachts every weekend, , that makes me squirm.
