- If you’re looking for a minimal style glove that’s durable and well thought out, I think you’ll like these Giro DNDs. I’ve been using mine for a long time on my MTB, putting them through a battery of tests on the gnarly terrain I love to ride on, and they've held up great.

With clever little features like the silicone bands on the fingertips, to the pull tabs to help you slide them on, I’ve been thoroughly impressed. The small 2mm pad on the underside is barely noticeable and allows you to feel connected with the bike, especially when the terrain gets demanding, and precision becomes paramount.
From the thicker mesh top that protects my hands against brush, to the lighter mesh along the sides of the fingers allowing air to flow through. For me, these gloves have been comfortable to wear in the dead of summer and deep into the fall.
Your hands are one of three major contact points on the bike so I know choosing the right glove means a lot. But if you’re looking for a more minimalist approach I would highly recommend trying out these Giro DND gloves.

Solid gloves, I've had a pair and if I get another in the future I know where to get em 😉
Thanks Zane! What are you currently wearing? Gloves I mean... phew that was close, lol.
@@TrailSage khakis 😉 hahaha jk I'm currently wearing FastHouse trail gloves. Priced well, breathable, touch screen tips never fail, but they're a bit bulky for my taste.
@@splooshmtb Gotcha. Ok good to know.
Hey there, Sage! Your preference for a more minimalistic approach makes a lot of sense, especially when it comes to maintaining that vital connection with the bike. Great details about the gloves' construction and features, like the silicone bands for extra grip! Thanks for the thorough review - it's great to see real-world testing and honest opinions 👏
Thank you so much Mihai. I really do love these gloves, but I understand everyone's tastes are different, so I try and be as descriptive as possible. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great video Sage, that looks like a great glove. As always, an awesome report with great examples. Thanks for sharing and have a nice week mate. Ride on🤙
Thank you so much Christoph, you are much too kind.
@@TrailSage You're welcome Sage, you make awesome content and my support comes from the heart 🙌
I agree. I’ve been using the dnd gloves for a few years and really like them. Great review!
Right on Scott! Question, what do you use when it gets colder?
Love these gloves. They fit me perfectly with an XL. Very comfy. And the colors are dope.
Only problem is the touchscreen capabilities don’t work well for me.
Yeah, I highlighted the same issue in my dislikes section. But then again I struggle with that with most gloves, so it's not a deal killer for me. Thanks for watching and commenting brotha!
I can't explain why, I know I won't buy those products (other side of the world, not the same brands available), but I'm still a fan of your reviews! Fun video!
Thank you so much Steph. I put a ton of hard work and time into these reviews so that means a lot.
Nice work Sage. Thanks for the review(s).
Thanks for your help shooting it Stick. #UA-camLife lol
Great review as always Sage... :D
Thank you Phil!
Nice review Sage. The red and black gloves I use (that you can see in most of my videos) look pretty similar to that, but I buy it in Decathlon for about 20$. But I'll try one pair of these Giro using your link and then I'll tell you about diferences. Ride On bro.
I like these gloves a lot, but if it gets really hot in Portugal you may not like them Luis. I would certainly not recommend them for XC racing. If you get them, please let me know what you think.
Great content 🤩👍 Looks like a good product. Riding over the big rock in the beginning was super gnarly 😵💫🤘🔥
Thanks Ville. That slab is super intense. It's the hardest feature I have ever done.
Nice overview! I use these too and really like them
Thank you so much. Yeah, these are awesome gloves.
I will give these a try. I am used to having open finger tips on gloves so I am interested how they will feel on the trails.
I used to run open finger gloves as well Andy. I switched a few years ago because the extra protection is nice if I fall (which happens a lot, lol). Thanks for watching and commenting Andy. I appreciate the support.
Hi trailsage, new sub. nice video. I have a question. What do you use to record de pov? a chest mount? or a helmet mount?
Hey thank you for subbing. To answer your question, I always use a chest mount.
