Number 1 rule of investing: only invest what you are willing to lose and sadly dracothyst atm is showing off that rule well lol. We can’t win them all. I still have hope for them to go up once we see demand but I don’t think they will go back up all the way to what they were before…. Also the exploits need to be fixed 🤞🏻

The big price lasted for a week and there was no way so many would have flooded the market at the rate they did if it wasn't for the CD issues and exploits. Really sad and depressing tbh
remember that multicraft/inspiration can bring the profit up even if the crafting cost is more expensive than the actual item (and that stackable items are region wide)... but even if the item is truly unprofitable now, that doesnt mean its always unprofitable. I've been able to consistently sell the embellishments for some very decent profit!

Ok, 1 thing i don’t understand. I am at renown 11 atm and i have 50 bricks. Trying to save for a voucher. On renown 12, do my bricks become useless or disappear ? I don’t understand this currency change.
At renown 12 everything turns to boulders. So a voucher which is 80 bricks now will then cost 40 boulders. If you have left over bricks, you can exchange them for boulders but you’ll technically lose a bit, but it works out in the long run. Basically 3 bricks = 1 boulder so you’ll 50 bricks will turn into 16 boulders. 50/80 seems a lot better than 16/40 but you now loot boulders. So you only need to loot 24 items vs 30. Any quest or treasure that currently rewards bricks will now reward boulders
How ofter can you farm bolders? just got to renown 12 and digging all birt and gets nothing. I was so close to get my recipe and hitting renown 12 F@ked me. So how do you farm bolders
You dont have to do anything special - at renown 12 anything that gives you bricks (treasures, quests, digs) will give you boulders however people seem to have found some sort of soft or hard cap each week. The number is unclear but after about 4-5 bricks/boulders from treasures you seem to stop getting them. So its not renown 12 that messed you up, its just that you hit the cap
The sad part about this new recipes is that if you have say Inscription and Jewelcrafting you can only choose one recipe out of both. Since you can’t grind consistently the new currency. Worst of all the new Alchemy recipe went down in price in less than a 2 days feelsbad.
Once you hit renown 12 on your toon, collecting boulders is way easier and speeds things up a ton. You get disturbed dirt that drops currency at renown 11 + the boulders. Dracothyst is actually still a great recipe to buy. Yes it’s no longer worth 18k and it’s at 7k, but glowspores are no longer worth 55g, they are at 15g. Profit is still there

You can purchase boulders from the quartermaster for supplies, so basically can buy your way to any recipe you'd like. This is also account wide! But you do need to hit renown 12 on each alt to take advantage of boulders
Yes some recipes are BoE yet it’s unclear when they will be turned to BoP like others have been - suggesting people to buy them to simply resell them and then they get changed to BoP would feel very bad so that is not considered in this video
@@Penguinr2gt well blizzard is not gonna remove already learned recipes and you can get the 25 barter bricks really quickly on your alt, so there is decent availability of them, just something to consider when trying to enter certain itemmarkets
Great vid as always. How much do you play each week? Between a kid under 2 and full time job i get maybe 15 hours a week to play. I feel like profits are always down on everything because i get to it so late.
I probably play an avg of 3-4 hours a day on average - fluctuates depending on my load as a college student. Sometimes I’m logged in longer but that’s due to me recording things for videos so I wouldn’t count that as actual play time where I’m progressing!
Dracothyst is region wide! But yes, sometimes the craft cost goes higher than the sell price but with multicraft and resourcefulness, it comes out profitable
And I held Dracothysts and Glowspores 'cause "Dracothysts are timegated", but instead, the market completely collapsed on reset. Fffffffffuckin' exploiters.
It’s due to a hotfix they put out a bit ago, and hasn’t been fixed. People have been able to get around it by dismounting but it’s not all the way fixed yet
@@Penguinr2gt It costs 4k to craft Dracothyst, materials only. At the moment Dracothyst costs 3,8k. So only with resourcefulness proccs. :/ I farmed soooo, many glowspores before this reset and levled up 3 chars alchemy. :D But, I guess I just need patience? :o

unfortunately the JC embellishments are already under water on my server - 5k for a dracothyst and 4k for the embellishment :(

You have to complete bartering 101 on each toon to unlock the barter brick/boulder quests. So you need to hit renown 3 on each specific toon

Yesterday the zaralek spores interaction of mining/herbalism got bugged, the buffs didn't combine into more spores. More info pwease
