I went through every nook of this game playing lots of hours, returning to difficult fights various times, fulfilled most of the quests I could find. And then I watched a video of a guy killing any boss with a chest. *insert witcher meme you know which one*
@@Worldlyy Larian is usually super lenient about such stuff. In Baldur's Gate 3 they found ways to finish all act 1 in 6 minutes, and all Developers said was; "We are not going to remove that, it is a super smart way of using the mechanics. Anything you can legally traverse is perfectly ok"
Lmao took me 20 hrs to complete act I. Though I did do everything, find everything, speak to everyone, and it’s my first D&D esque turn based RPG. But wow, this guy smashed it.
yeah if u want to make the most powerful character possible then doing every quest in each act is recommended, i personally also kill ALL NPCs and Traders after ive completed the whole act to min max EXP cuz by the time u get to Lucian u should be level 21-22 at least. and as far as barrelmancy goes i usually use a chest rather than a bag .
I've never played a game like this before. I was figuring out the basic gameplay mechanics and features on that island for honestly maybe 24 real life hours. It was still fun though 😊

What surprised me most about this is not the crazy flings/ports but the fact that you can just use telekinesis and a heavy bag to one shot everything... w....t....f.
Barrelmancy is truly the most powerful school of magic. You can even backstab with it if you have a dagger equipped and toss something into someones back.
incredible! btw how does resetting superfling work? Do you have to reset by moving an object after every fling that goes outside of your regular reach?
It's a bit more complicated than that but I'll give it a shot. If you try to move an object normally into a place that it's unable to, that sets a coordinate in the memory, if you remove an object from your inventory then superfling any object, it will instead go to the previous coordinates set by the failed throw. Moving any object normally without fail clears those coordinates from the memory and allows you to fling items where you want them to go. You can superfling as many objects as you want in a row without having to reset. Also moving objects into your bag or hotbar count as failed throws.
I've never had a problem with the skill itself, but this video is in reference to speedrunning tactics, not normal gameplay. Could you elaborate on how it gives a "random" result? Or what it's doing? I'm mostly just curious what happened lol
@@Worldlyy Often backlash when used won't actually put you behind the target. There are instances where it obviously can't (ie target is near a wall etc) but I have had situations where in an open area i use backlash and end up infront of instead of behind the target, Divinity in general is super buggy. Ai especially. Skills tend to have issues on occasion but backlash is one of the worst for these problems.
I don't get the superflim to work... I move the first vase but nothing happens, I don't get the screen going to the first waypoint nor get the superflim (cannot throw the vase on such long distance)
Please check the description for useful links. advanced guide tutorial boat explains superflings. and there are other resources linked there that might help. Also superfling is only on PC
Tired but victorious. Bro it hasn't been 5 minutes lol
Me when I walk up more than 5 stairs 😅
*-Me:* Trying to decide which class I should pick..

10:xx incoming! Hyped to see what the new act 1 will look like once you have some reps.
here's hoping! a whole slew of new tricks are happening now. and act 2 is quite tough.
This is so impressive! Super cool trick. Would love to see a Larian reaction of the new world record as well 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately I think larian is working on more important things. I hopped they would in the past but since gave up 😅

Interesting, thanks for the reply. Good luck on future runs with this sweet tech! Kudos to Shiki as well
Backlash might be op if it worked. A very buggy skill with a pretty random result most of the time.
