It gets better: If you have the villain tag but not the hero tag, have 6 persuasion and chose to release the deathfog on arx, you can also persuade Bracchus to quit. Given that you don't fight anyone this or the other way but Dallis and Lucian still let you decide the world's fate, I imagine that your magnificient speech awed them into letting you just do whatever you want.
That's pretty amazing that you can get to the end of the game and just be like, "Give up! I'm a Hero who's hands are free of blood and sin, you don't stand a chance!" and the BBEG just folds.

A cheap way to get past that is just to get a Hireling, any fresh new Hireling. They instantly pass the Pure test and get you into the tomb. I don't think they can get you past the final fight with the Hero+Pure+Pursuation route though.
Pretty sure he cheated the path of blood. He show'd himself stealing on his first character, so I doubt he didn't on the second. And stealing disables path of blood
@@orionweiss5418 Nah if you look on the left any time he's pickpocketing it's with Fane, and the bit where he shows a character stealing while explaining the Path of Blood is from some other playthrough.
I attempted this challenge way back and got stuck on Act 3 too. Funnily enough I used every tactic you did. Stealing the wand to free Slane, forcing Gareth to fight Alexander (and being surprised they could win) and only doing non-violent quests to progess and level up. Unfortunately, the retribution damage counts as your kill if someone dies to it. Usually the AI doesn't hit you if it will kill them, but sometimes they crit. It's also tough bc you can only ever get 20 points of retribution (100% reflection) with unmodded gear, unless there's some lategame items I don't know about. And in the end the game won't let you pass the trial of blood anyways. You might be able to get really tricky with the bleed fire skill, where you proc fire around you after you get hit... idk, it would be tricky to make a working build, but not impossible
I would NEVER have thought about increasing the telekinesis range or that it would even be able to go that far. Or that the best option would be to throw the transporter pyramid across the water.
Fane feigning death is a good one. Also the little part with your character sleeping and you editing in footage for his dream was cute. Creative little touches like that are awesome.
