Expedia snorkeling trip fail, we got it wrong!

Be careful booking your next holiday / vacation on Expedia.
We recently booked a weekend getaway package with Expedia.
In the process we booked what we thought was a relaxing Catermaran snorkeling trip.
It turned out to be a booze cruise and party boat at a cost of $118.00 per person.
The worst part was the 6 hours we spent in the van traveling to and from the boat.
Might I also add the fact that right out side of our hotel there was a reef we could have snorkeled for $35.00 urgh!
In retrospect we see that the issue was with Expedia’s website, a lot of the details are hidden until you click on the actual page for the activity.
We normally skip package deals for this very reason.
In the future we will sort our own plans out like we normal would.

For the amount they charged per person and that short of a trip is quit the rip off, no wonder you do get to review the provider. I am sorry the disappointing day trip.

Yeah, we were pretty disappointed to say the least. We also found out after we filmed this, that literally right behind the hotel there was a snorkeling tour for $35 per person and the reef was swimming distance from our hotel…. As the saying goes live and learn hopefully someone learns from our mistake!
