Unfortunately, PC just has most of the best realistic tactical shooters. But you have some good options like Insurgency Sandstorm, Hell Let Loose, Six Days in Fallujah and maybe the Ghost Recon games if you adjust the settings for more realism and less arcadeyness.
The problem with Tarkov is that its in perma-Beta and no 1.0 release in sight. Also, it wipes every 6 months and introduces new bugs while never really getting rid of all the existing ones. Sure, they fix some, but it just doesnt seem like they are on a decent path out of testing.

Extraction Shooter *isn't* Battle Royale, considering: *- Skipped Feature* In many cases, Extraction shooters *lacks* of deploying phase, such as controllable parachuting like BR does *- Unique Theme* Extraction shooters uses Deadline system and Escape points, unlike BR that uses Shrinking zone to end the game *- Based Inventory System* In BR your inventory resets every match and you start naked, but in Extraction shooter you can *keep* your lootable items to the main menu, *inspect* them, *modify & test* them (weapons only), *use* them (consumables only), *sell* to / *buy* from another players, or even *bring them out* to the next match everytime you want *- Complex Health System* Since your inventory and your overall progress is saved, of course you'll also bring your last HP status from previous match. If you succesfully escaped to the main menu with broken limb, it will not heal automatically in the next match until you treat it with splint or surgery items. And remember, you won't heal instantly with one item only like many arcadey games, since your body parts have separated HP each and there's many types of health status and medicine that you'll comprehend how they work overtime. And yeah.. they included to simulation genre for that reason lol
I think tarkov is a good game but it isnt for everyone. The learning phase is one of the most fun things even thow you die all the time. I have about 1000 h in the game, find new items every day and im still not very good at it but for my its still fun, so if you have enought money i would try it out😅
for peaople who enjoy ready or not I would recomend ground branch it is my favourite game since 2023 and I still play it everyday bacause if awesome comunity and a lot of gamemodes you can play not only pve but also pvp give it a go
I understand why you'd rank squad higher than arma 3. Squad is obviously a better and smoother looking game. As for Escape from Tarkov, it's really unrealistic on some points. Balancing is kinda bad for a MILSIM game, as it makes it less realistic. Recoil being one of those things, as it is abysmal. In no situation would you have THAT much vertical recoil as in EFT.
you should take tarkov off theres no reason to support them there protection form cheaters is a way to still people money. They false ban you and don't haft to give you reason for the ban, a bunch of UA-camrs and streamers got banned to and the only reason why they got unbanned was because it was recorded. but a good portion of there community got banned so there's a bunch of people who was playing lagit that got banned for no reason. Sadly I was one of those people!
