I really didn’t see a point of them doing a scene of her walking to the house if they were just gonna end up showing her going to the bar. I think they just wanted to redo Oprah’s iconic march from the first film, but honestly it just seemed like a waste of time.

@@erinjackson1680 Nah, I don’t know why they keep saying this version was based on the broadway show. It wasn’t. Other than the songs, this movie did not take much from the stage play. In fact, it had way more in common with the first film than it did the stage play.
