I’ve heard some people say that, but also know so many heavy haulers that don’t do it. So personally we have been hauling equipment for 6 years here locally. Also we bought our excavator 10 years ago. And have always transported like that. Never had a problem or heard of something like that happening.

He should have covered up the exhaust on the dozer or else the turbo will freewheel and get damaged due to lack of lubrication.
