He's making that massive load seem like its easy. People have no idea or appreciation for this kind of skill. Heavy haul truckers have to know how to run equipment, load themselves, and know what is legal down the road. Not to mention dealing with traffic and roads with a massive heavy truck. I live in Houston and I remember when HUNTER didn't have nice equipment like that... I've been Hauling Heavy for 20 plus years.. I Started HEAVY HAULING in Houston .. ( MOFFITT , DOGGETT, and a few others... Applied at HUNTER in the late 90's but they didn't hire me... Love thier NEW EQUIPMENT ... FLAWLESS..

This kid is very talented and seems to have a great work ethic. I'm sure he's quite happy where he is and doing what he's doing in Texas, but he would make a killing on the east coast. His kind of talent and dedication does get rewarded.

Used to have a route down in Texas City/Galveston area and would see these guys all the time. Their yard is over off 146 and I believe 1765 area. All of their trucks are nice

7:50pm, beautiful truck! I had an uncle who use to drive long heavy loads all over. He drove for C&H out of Houston.

What an interesting look at that category of trucking. It was fascinating to see and hear the driver summarize his career path and driving experience. It would also be Interesting to hear about the precautions a driver has to take securing and traveling with such a large and heavy piece of equipment.

I want to drive my ‘07 now. Reminds me of it. Mines a little bit longer, studio sleeper, CAT TWIN TURBO C15, I dig this rig badass man. We have lowboys with those trailers for more weight at my job.

Grove 90ton Cranes are known to be boom heavy, running around the yard on and off trucks it is a Good Practice, to make sure that your Boom is sucked in to the stops . It is a no harm, no foul , but I have had the damn Computer, not switch out of Rigging and Travel mode until I had sucked in all the boom, center over the front, shut the rig down for a couple of minutes, so the ECU would clear, and on start up it would Boot up fine. Clearing all Error Codes.

The sound of truck is so cool
We have the same story kinda. I only been driving 5 years and I started otr hauling grain. Then went to soda, the sand and stone then got into a construction company running flatbed. Friday was my first day running low boy and it only took one day now I’m hooked. I want the big shit that regular people look in shock at.

Heavy Haul is one of the hardest things to get into. You have to be willing to learn, and put in your dues on the runs no one else wants.
It’s really not that hard if you pay attention and are super careful.
