Many thanks for this. My left button decided to double click for no reason and seems like it's common with this particular Omron switches. Changed it over to a Kailh GM red instead and seems to be working fine after 20 minutes of use. Logitech should really make their switches modular like some of ROG's mice for easy repairability.
Thanks for this highly detailed guide! Have just finished my switch replacement and you simply just saved my mouse from getting disposed XD BTW, Logitech should really notice the double-clicking problems the mouses have, they are too frequent to be individual cases now, they really need to ensure the quality of those microswitches.
Thank you so much for this video. Where did you buy the switches? I didnt know which one would fit and I couldnt find original ones. I would be so tankful for help!
I dipped the front end in some PB Blaster and then Isopropyl. Hit it with the air compressor for a bit and it's working for now. I believe this to be a corrosion issue in the switch. If I had electrical clearer around, I would have used it instead of the PB. WD40 would work about the same.
Exactly what I needed thanks, What did you do about the skates though? do you recommend buying replacements. They don't look like they'll stay on after being peeled
At 1:15 you pull the main housing off with almost no issue... I'm trying to remove it on my G703 and the thing will not come apart. I feel like I'm going to snap part of the mouse.
Sorry I’m replying late, but the same thing happened to me. You just have to wriggle it around until it comes loose. There are two latches holding on to it from that front part of the mouse housing piece
Dónde puedo encontrar switches nuevos? Muchas gracias por el vídeo! Quiero cambiar mis Switches de mi G703 ya que han empezado a hacer un doble click muy muy molesto...
how to fix the logo in my g703, its not working, even if I fix it in Logitech g hub, the lights in scroll is fine, I think its a hardware problem, how to fix it
Jephph, Can you do a sensor switch from Logitech G Pro Wireless to Logitech G703? I don't like the shape of my Logitech G Pro, I prefer the Logitech G703 because it is right-handed.
Nice to have this guide. Just curious but does removing the rubber (or plastic or whatever) feet and then reattaching them lead to any issues using the mouse?
it didn't for me, my right click broke completely so i opened it and replaced the right click switch, put everything back together and put the feed back on and it looks new. One thing to keep in mind when taking the feet pads off is to make sure to get underneath the pads all the way to where the adhesive connects to the mouse, if you just peel from the top you can peel the foot off the adhesive backing and it gets messy
Hi Bro , are you from here in the Philippines? Would you take a job replacing mouse left and rights switches for my G903 that is having double click problems? Please let me know and we can talk further. Salamat!

Hi! It is used for sucking the molten solder, and it is usually called Solder Sucker or desoldering pump. It is available on any web shopping sites like eBay or Amazon.
what's the tool that pushes the tips out while removing the solder? Are there any alternatives rather than maybe pulling it? I don't know too much and only soldered in junior high ages ago.
haha for the soldering stuff, solder iron is about $20, solder tin wire $10, clip stand $15, new mouse switches $3-10, and your time and effort to do it. I have these stuff around so it's like free to me, but if you need to buy all of them, then I would recommend buying a new mouse. XD
Try turning the wheel and see if the encoder insides turns with it, if yes the shaft of the plastic wheel is fine. Then try cleaning the encoder with alcohol. Sometimes that helps. If not just replace the encoder, i would recommend getting an alps one. You would have to measure the distance from the base to the hole, the encoders come in different sizes (mostly 7mm, 9mm, 11mm).

Where can I find that switch?
@@Imperium_DI I got it over from Aliexpress. The 3 weeks shipping was a pain though...
Same issue. Thanks for your comment
This was exactly the guide I needed, thank you!
Thank you very much because of your video I was able to fix my G703 double clicking problem.
Hopefully I'll work for me in my G403
Friend of mine just fixed my G703 with the help of this video, thanks man! Works flawlessly now.
Followed the guide and my mouse is once again registering one click per click. Thank you!
Thanks for this guide!! Just used it to successfully replace the switches on my G703 with Kalih GM 4.0s!

Thanks for the video, i was able to find that little middle screw jsut because of you
I attempted this myself and it turned out great!
Did this with my g703 today. Thanks for the good video 👍
This guide is very useful man, thank you for this video
What new switches do you recommend? Do you have an Amazon link?
Спасибо, помогло видео. Заменил выключатель левой кнопки.
Noice. Thank you! So many tiny screws.
Thanks for your guidance man really helpful!

Great video, thank you!
Thank you, used it already 2 times! Helpful guide! :D
my scroll wheel broke so i couldnt click it anymore, this helped!
My version (2019) doesn't have any screws under the glued ramps at the very start?? Nor any other screws visible anywhere else.
love this mouse .. i have 2 of the same .. 1 from 2017 and 1 from 2020 (new version)

This was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Hopefully the Keihl switches will last longer than the crappy Omron ones.
This guy got really nice hands
This is what you got out of the video? Haha 🤚

thx for the vid, do u know if the 703 and 403 shells are swappable?
Since they are basically the same design, yes, but why?

Hi! It is used for sucking the molten solder, and it is usually called Solder Sucker or desoldering pump. It is available on any web shopping sites like eBay or Amazon.
Ouch, these are complex mice to disassemble with all the screws. Wired ones are much easier to maintain.
But then they’re wired . . .
nice video, thanks

Pushes the tips out? I am not sure specifically what you are referring to, but hes using a helping hands and a solder sucker in this video.

Hello. Which switches do i need ?
do someone know that ?
Does anyone know if I can use G703 without a battery? I have a chance to buy a "broken" one that only works via cable.
1:29 i broke that white flat cable do you know if i could buyit anywhere?
Actually, it's a PS4 controller ribbion cable, same exact thing
Im going to spray paint mine all matte black because with no rgb I think it will look much nicer, and will save battery life.
You can turn rgb off
Haha yeah, I think black looks better too. I use the Logitech software to turn off the leds.
Painting an LED definitely won't "save battery life". Disabling it in software, however, will.
my mouse wheel broke is there any chances to fix that?
Did this will fix the double click?
What was the problem? Did it solved the problem? Mine is releasing and double clicking both main buttons.
I'm using for little less than 2 years.
@@lucascomin1994 Same!
@Jephph
Ruined my board that you solder the switch to. Anybody know of a place I can get a replacement board?
got water into it,any idea on how i can repair it?>
thx dude
For some reason the front part near the scroll wheel would get stuck
Is this the model with the hero sensor?
This mouse should have been recalled, mines only 13 months old and double clicking
where you get teh switches
GEt the right size screwdriver
Seriously I need to do all this because Logitech uses bad switches?
for anyone having a double click issue, i just whacked the switch housing and it fixed it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Where did you get the spare part from?
Hi! I bought them on Amazon Canada. They are usually called Mouse Micro Switch.
2:34 ???? :))
Seems I missed that screw at 4:25
Nice destruction of screwa due to poor tools :o

This also works with the G403 right?
Have you tried it? Are there big differences?
