- Hello guys 👋
Today’s something really really different from what I do usually . I wanted to try building military stuff as well . So there will be a series of 3 videos where i will be building all 3 bombers still in service in the USAF 😌 , the B-1B Lancer here , the B-52H and last but not least The B-2 spirit . For those who prefer civil stuff , don’t worry I already build 2 models 😏and another one is nearly finished ✅.
The kit is from Academy Hobby . And I have no words to describe how good this kit is , perfect fit at every pieces , nice colored and detailed Instructions , clever ingeniring and nice attention to details with paint masks . With the kit comes great decal make by Cartographe and here again , nothing to say !
I hope you liked my very first military assembly . Even if it is not the most entertaining painting scheme , the whole assembly was style very fun . See you next time for a civil airliner build 😉.

Beautiful job on the B1. I however think the Ellsworth version is more photogenic... maybe because I worked on them. LOL!
The B1-Bs got to sit out the Gulf war not because they weren't capable but because being designed during the cold war were meant to carry nuclear weapons. There was a mad scramble in the aircraft maintenance shops to fabricate bomb rack adapters to even carry practice munitions, conventional of course.
Maintenance on the aircraft was tedious due to the ample amount of composites used in the construction. Their choice of hardware was a source of frustration to the maintenance crews also.
But when they flew they did it with elegance. The deep rumble got you right in the chest and made all the dinner plates rattle for miles. The night launches were spectacular.
Most maintainers have a love-hate relationship with the B1

C'est petit au 1/144...lol , je l'ai fait au 1/48 ..lol bon c'est vrai ça prends beaucoup plus de place.. mdrrr
Comparé au 1/48 de Revell , c’est clair que c’est peut après c’est pas mal je trouve , ça laisse quand même quelque détail très sympa .
