The thing that no one could beat Buddy on was what he could with the snare drum. He was untouchable. No one, not Bellson, not Peart, not Carl Palmer, not Tony Williams, not anyone could touch Buddy's snare technique...except for you. I am speechless. May you have an outstanding career and life.
Oh, gimme a break. I saw Belson and his orchestra as Dell West in Philly back in the 70s. He was nothing short of spectacular, even past his prime. BR is numero uno. The amateur featured above isn't even on the same planet in terms of talent.
Buddy was like the Bruce Lee. Surely the rest you mention above, great drummers all. And there's so many more. I've seen Bellson, Palmer live, sat next to Buddy Rich in a Drum Clinic, 1967 Frank's Drum Shop Chicago. No denying either, Buddy's Cymbal and Hi Hat work were just mind blowing! When I watched him play at that Clinic and in regards to his mastery of Cymbals I said to myself right there. "Man, I've got a lot of work to do"! I was at the 2 year mark at that point with Drum Lessons, just a beginner, and I did feel quite small. LOL His speed, precision, Buddy always seemed so right on top of the beat, explosive. Lag was surely not in his style.
This is the top of the great day I have been waiting for and many other drummers. Here you give your fans all the excitement with jaw dropping talents. To me this reminds me of waiting in line to ride a thrilling roller coaster Anticipation and then the moment comes when you get to ride that roller coaster never fails to bring excitement and smiles. You have it and always always deliver the ultimate in perflection a d excitement keep that buddy rich style thats you thats your exhibit of masterful drumming
Excellent drummer i can tell he has alot to training and practice smooth as silk i appreciate your talent and dedication to the art I can only imagine to have one half of the talent of your left hand WOW
I only watched this vid once. But comparing what I hearing just wasn't jiving with what I was seeing, like this was simply a play-along? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Exzellent touch and technique...as Buddy himself....
Fantastic! Your ability to transcribe and play everything note for note blows me away and is truly amazing! My best to you my friend! 🥁🥁🥁😎
It was so fun when I first managed to play this!
Fantastic. I really enjoy your videos and of course your talent. I saw Buddy and his band twice in the 70's.
Thank you!! 70s with the Killer Force? Man, I can die if I could watch that live.
Excellent as ever, if I didn't know better with my eyes close you would/could be the man(Buddy Rich ) best of luck and good fortune to you my friend.
I used the same model of snare that was used in the album!

I didnt know Asians played the drums. I always thought they were more into string instruments or piano. This is impressive.

Maybe that’s because I set the audio a bit too front🤔
