I hope you enjoyed this special episode of watching your take off and landings where we watch people use the jump points instead. Let me know if you liked this concept for a video and would like to see more in the future! Regular episodes of watching your takeoff and landings will return once more this coming weekend so be sure to stay tuned for those videos soon. - Become a member and support the show! ua-cam.com/channels/eSMtWcJwjm6Dj4GrWFngqA.htmljoin Join the Discord! discord.gg/mRFMCANaCu See you all in the next one. o7
This is probably the coolest form of interstellar travel in all of gaming. The fact you can even see ships going into the jump point and that they don't just simply disappear when they enter is amazing.
I like Pyro not having fuel. Makes you need to pick your ship better, and gives the people like me with a refuel ship a reason to get them out (other than to check if it works or not in the new patch)
Nerd alert... "Meatball" is actually a naval aviation term referring to the big amber circle glide-slope reference on the carrier deck, which sorta looks like a meatball. In military aviation, we refer to the velocity vector as just the "velocity vector." At least in Army aviaiton, that was the case. Another fun video, either way! Thanks
33:56 If they are giving us scope glint and crossbow sound and glint... then my suspicion is that they will leave these trails in. This makes a whole lot more sense than crossbow glint as it seems to replicate the kind of thing that happens in a cloud chamber... for remarkably similar if not identical reasons. They should leave it.
I may have been the spirit. Firing that blast was so fucking cool. I had gotten distracted by my phone when I was about to jump and hesitated for a few while I answered a text.
be crazy if they could weaponize that first initial pulse to open up the wormhole that thing looks incredible when it's firing be crazy if that could be used as a weapon
These were great, seeing jumps from someone else's perspective. It must take some patience waiting for the next ship to "pop the cork". 🚀👍😁 A side effect of watching so many ships take off and land is you've become expert at recognizing ships by their shapes. I remember a decade ago that CIG said that was a goal, making a variety ships so different you could recognize them on sight instead just one ship that does it all.
It'd be a lot cooler in my opinion if the Jumpgate was constantly open and you could just get sucked in...I get they did the whole animation thing for some backend stuff but way cooler to just have it always open.
I still haven’t managed to make a successful jump. I got tuned and started into the tunnel once, and the desync was so bad I was immediately ejected from the wormhole into a CTD. Most of the time I can barely get close enough to start tuning.
There is just no way to see how large the wormhole actually is. Because of our high speeds, it might also feel like the tunnel is smaller than it actually is. There simply is no recongnizable objects with us in the tunnel that would provide us perspective and context. I wonder if there are two ships entering at almost the same time, what if one ship took the turns at tight corners and the other at far edge. Since they would take longer/short paths, they would eventually have to be at the same "position" in the tunnel and may even take over the other ship. Does that work? Seomeone tested this yet?
Hello, I have a question about how you edit your video: How do you normalise the sound ? UA-cam is normalising the sound of my viedo and we can't hear anything...
CIG decides who is Evocati under certain conditions. You need to play and report bugs a lot I think. Then if you do, you may receive an email someday asking if you want to apply.

Come on bro, you need to fly the Mako news van with this kind of commentary, lol.
I so hate this dude. He is the reason for my PTSD. I scan wherever i land looking for him.
He's the reason I learned to fly decoupled
haha, thanks for the chuckle :)
😂

I think your guide here is exceptionally practical and useful. Thank you!
It's crazy how you can see the first vortex, but it seems hard to maneuver around it.

according lore that's just QT fuel got spit into warmhole to start it
Watch Farscape 😂
Kudos for the Carack guy. He finally made it!

Parallax effect on the JP is so cool
This right here is why i scan whenever i leave quantum.😂
That hammerhead looks kinda spookey sat there in the event horizon like that... what happend to the crew man... D:
You ever see ships exiting the Jump Point, as they come From Pyro to Stanton?
Oh-oh. Nowhere is safe now :D
Could you show what a wormhole looks like from its back? I do want to know how the tunnel look from other persepective
Seems like a lot of people that hurtle out of that end up flying close to the station. Camp the station and you may see 'em burn by

14:46 I kinda hate it, I wish the tunnel felt huge from the inside but there were more obstacles
I wonder if the exit points being visible is not a bug but CIG having them on for troubleshooting reasons.
ty for being the cameraman XD
I was the Corsair in the beginning. I messaged Hybrid in global chat but now I can see why he didn't respond. Haha.
Oh nice, they fixed the graphics on the MSR thrusters so that both jets are firing. Cool.
The best news I'm seeing is that the engines on the MSR have been fixed. Hey, does the scanning chair work now as we've heard the Terrapin's is?
My favorite series
Freaking cool!

Hahahahha thank you for this service because of u iam always cautious while flying , landing , jumping hahah !!
CIG needs to do a dynamic open sound for this wormhole. This will get boring fast.
I think cig needs to be release this first... It's already too late.

How can one test evocati? You can’t see it in the launcher..

@ oh so most of us won’t be jumping to pyro anytime soon 😂
Wtf is "Nav light" mode? You just making terms up and expecting us to know what you're talking about?
