Yes! Koala Sedai is fantastic. If you like Lauren's content, you'll love hers. She sees so much detail and nuance in every clip and still frame, and really knows the books.
Lauren, you blew my mind with Liandrin being the woman with child at the statue. Could be an incredible cold open. I think man in hat is just passing by as Mat et all seem focused past him. Handsome Harbormaster is perhaps a Seafolk Cargo Master? However it works out we'll discover in the next couple months. Thanks as always. You rock.
I am very intrigued by the scene with the man showing something in a bag to Mat, Nynaeve, and Min. I'm wondering if he might have something like a foxhead medallion in the bag. I don't think that it is likely, but I keep returning to that idea for some reason.
I think Moghedien is the one who sends Liandrin on a mission to Tanchico. It’s funny as Liandrin is being pushed around by Ishamael, Lanfear, and Moghedien. It’s almost as if the Forsaken are competing for influence and control over the Darkfriends. The only difference is that the Darkfriends would immediately side with Ishamael. With him gone, they have to take the time considering whether to follow a specific Forsaken or not.
Thanks for another great video. I want to see people cos play Mat's show Tanchico's outfit. The most recent image (with his black and pink sequence outfit and black vail. The Show marketing team has to know how obsesesive the fandom is.. How much we pour over all images and trailers relaesed. Knowing that, we will only see Moghidian (or any other Chosen) when she is central to the image/scene in a trailer. No way she will be in the background of a still that focuses on other characters.
Very true. I have a hard time believing that will happen in the show, but I'm starting to think S3 is a bit more of book 3 than book 4 in Mat and Min's cases, so maybe it could still happen later?
Hmm, I think they do sell them. Padan Fain always had them in the Two Rivers. I think they just don't want people to open them up and figure out how they're made.
It could be a flashback to Liandrin with child, however, I don't think she was always a darkfriend. She probably has good reason to hate men, but I think swearing to the dark probably came later to keep her son alive.
This! I've said it for years that it should be animation. It's just to big for live action. Plus if it's animated you can have some of their inner monologue.
If animation, like War of the Rohirrim, I would have zero interest in watching it, despite loving the books and having read them many times. The anime they chose - just the worst - a cheap movie to ensure they didn't lose the Rights. 14 WoT books + New Spring - it was NEVER, EVER going to follow the books - compression and omissions were always going to be required, and Mat leaving S1 threw a big spanner in the works. Personally, I think many critics are entirely unrealistic with their expectations. And despite loving WoT, for me some of the books were 9/10 and some were a tedious 5/10, so improvements were always a possibility. Whilst I don't like everything they've done on the show, some aspects are far better than the books (the villians Ishy, Lanfear, Liandrin) and some things were done very well (Nynaeve's accepted test) and Egwene's breaking using the pitcher of water.

There you go getting me hyped.

Only time will tell..
TIME TIME TIME

I loved season 2, so hopefully we get more
@5:18 i think its just a frame inversion.
One of my favourite grouping of the books is Siuan x Min x Logain x Leane so I'm a bit 😢

I thought the illuminators can't sell fireworks, only perform haha

Maybe if they followed the books and did the entire thing in animation, it might be good.
@@wa1w511 The style castlevania used for Netflix would of hit❗️
