Nice informative video.. Sir can suggest ways to overcome Iron deficiency in hybiscus. My two hibiscus plants are flowering but have yellow leaves.. I add banana leaves and water it when top soil is dry. It has lots of buds.. Should I prune it now.

I thought it was mealy bugs but when I cut open the buds, I couldn't find any. I did fertilize them with high phosphorus fertilizer. What are your suggestions ?
during this stage water very less ..water only when top layer of soil feels dry to touch...frequent watering will cause buds to drop ..keep some gap between watering ...n fertilize nominally during flowering stage

no need to remove the netted pot ......it will decompose by itself .....if u try to remove it ...ur plant's roots will get disturbed which may cause bud drop or leaf drop ...or ur plant may die also

you can shift your plant now....make sure you do not expose or remove soil from the root ball completely ....trim some roots from the bottom n loosen the soil ....after digging up the hole sprinkle some organic compost in the bottom.........in the ground keep the level same ..do not plant ur plant too deep below the surface of the ground..after planting water well

Heyy.. I propagated a hibiscus plant last year..this feb I repotted it into a 15 in paint bucket.. Till now it has grown into several branches but no flowering till now also the leaves are not fully green it has yellow patches..it does. Have mealy bug ussue which I am treating and has reduced significantly but leaf issue is still persistant.. I watched this video 1.5 months back and followed your instruction.. changed its location, added fertilizers(bone meal, onion/banana peal), check its water frequently, cut its tips added neem khali also.. since 15 days I got 3 buds but they are falling..What could be the issue of bud falling and yellow leaves

u were right to say hope for the best cause all of my cuttings have rooted and growing healthy leaves they actually started rooting last week now a lot of leaves have grown all over but what I'm worried about is how do I transplant them to individual pot cause I've planted the cuttings in the same pot how do I pick them up
gently take out the cutting from the pot ..make sure its roots are not exposed in the air ..take it out with the soil and gently re pot it .i am going to upload a video on seedling transfer in 2-3 days ..that will surely help u ..so wait for few more days..:)
Urban Gardener I planted them on the 4th of Dec so I was thinking abt transplanting them on 4th Jan or so just giving it a bit more time to get stronger what do u say and 1 more thing as they have rooted now will there be a problem of winter damage cause here in the morning it was too foggy it's still foggy but the place I've kept them it underneath a shrub and there was no water dripping on it but I make sure I mist and water them in the early morning and in the evening so far it's growing healthy leaves and nodes

Hi- You said that Hibiscus like water during blooming. I live in Arizona and today will be about 115º so I have my hibiscus indoors. It sits in a E/S corner window so it gets about 6 hrs of sun at least though the windows. The house temperature is about 77º. I also added a humidifier. When I brought it home, I put it in a self-watering planter but the buds drop when I touch the pot to add water, or move it even just a little. I thought it loved consistent water? Should I let it dry out? Not sure what to do next. There are buds, but I don't want them dropping off! Thank you

one more query plz. some of my hibiscus plants had a severe mealy bug attack last year though the infestation was cleared soon after, the plants look sick. new leaves still curve inwards from edges. Even using good organic fertilizer mix like compost, neemkhali and bonemeal has not helped.

Mix 4 drops of kerosene oil in 1 litre water and let it rest for 24 hrs ...after that spray on the affected area ... repeat after 3-4 days

dormancy period winters mae aata hai oct se jan tak aap hibiscus ki pruning oct-nov mae kar saktae hoo toh feb tak achchi new growth ho jayaegi aur fhir bhaut saaarae flowers aayengae plant par kyuki flower new growth par aatae hai hibiscus plant mae....:hibiscus ko well drained soil pasand hai bus clay soil nhi honi chahiyae ....:)happy gardening tc
