@flamebyte2 Yes. Doing that walls off the choke point and makes it much harder for the enemy to get into your base early game. You can get your own units through by selecting the supply depots and using the "lower" order, which drops it into the ground, allowing you to move over it. Once you've moved your units, you can then raise it again to get your wall back.
I did the similar build as Masq did in this game...it always works (90%) if you are playing against zerg 1v1....The timing is important and you need to attack when they are building the second hatcery. The trick is don't spend any resources in upgrading - just get seige tanks and that's it. I would throw in 3-4 hellions and it works better.

@Strand0410 exactly :) Being a 'professional' at a sport (esports included) means more than just being good at the game, its about having a professional attitude, if you lose, even lose badly, you have to tip your cap to the better player and learn from your mistake not throw a tantrum. I can sort of understand the feeling if you get 'cheesed' but I dont see the above game as cheesy really and even if you DO feel like that its still polite to keep such rage to yourself ;)
@Philbertsroom That wasn't mocking that was a conversation. The part HD thought was mocking was read out of context. HD even said he hadn't seen what Masq said right before. If you read all of it you can see what he wasn't slamming idrA and idrA clearly didn't take it that way. He merely named the player from the team they were talking about that he'd bumped into.
@Chekko0313 I'm quite a casual (ie: noob) player. But I would say that the limiting factor is Gas, not Mineral. So probably they prefer to spend 100 more mineral in another barrack, and save those 50 gas, which might mean been able to pump one aditional tank.
@bovineblitzkrieg Look at that map again. Lots of cliffs and choke-points where his rines do not have LoS. Sniping from cliffside would have been very effective.
sen build = fast-teching to spire & muta's from 1 base (named after sen who was the first to use this tactic in SC2), which makes sense on a map like this because, like the commentator said, it's hard to expand :)
@copznrobbas That's really kind of the point. It's amazing to me that someone with enough discipline to acquire the skill idrA has, doesn't have the self control to take his losses like an adult.
whatever the case of classic IdrAge, he's still one of the best (and the only non-Korean to advance past round of 64 in the GSL so far, still waiting on TLO)
7 roaches: 525 minerals, 175 gas. 6 roaches: 450 minerals, 150 gas (since the one was redlined). 7 marines: 350 minerals, 0 gas 1 tank: 150 minerals, 125 gas Total: 500 minerals, 125 gas Later, a marine reinforced, but so did a roach. The terran essentially won a push with equal/less resource investment, against a unit that is SUPPOSEDLY good against marines, being tier 1.5. You're going to blame that on Idra?!

I love that Siege Tanks are now useful in tank mode. Before, they were practically useless without siege mode.
