I actually wanted to check out a TT1 match just yesterday because I realized I've never seen him play, and sure enough when I wake up this morning HD has a video ready for me! D:
@polska555 a+move means attack-move -- telling units to move to a certain spot but that if they see any enemies along the way, to break off from their route and attack them.
@fulzoe the lair "unlocks" the creep dropping ability; as in having already built his lair earlier, his overlords can henceforth drop creep until the end of the game
@Chellout619 I think there's a file-size cap as well. If not, there are a lot of benefits to using multiple parts. More views, more ad revenue, and it'd be a LOT easier on his internet. Less of a risk of the upload failing and the whole 15 minutes getting trashed. It's also better for the people watching. 15 min segments would get swamped a lot more from the higher traffic, and it'd be slower for everyone. This way, the downloads are spread out.
@Trablo pros do it to keep their hands warm for later in the game, so they dont have to suddenly spike up to 200 apm they just stay there the whole game. some people play well with just 90 apm and have great decision making/ placement.

Eh, just wait guys.....this game clocked in at just over an hour long. 8 mins a pop on these videos? We're going to be seeing a lot of parts come out of HD on this unless he sped up the game speed. It is a fun game to watch though. Hope that all that are patient enjoy the ending. I was going to cast this on my channel today as well, but since HD already did it today, I'm not gonna waste your time. :)
@nur226 I dont know quite where you are but #1 on the list is to get your micro and hotkeys down. Get it so you dont even have to think about it and you can switch to another control group and use an ability in a split second. #2 on the list is try and get a specific build and practice it constantly online. Know when you are going to throw down, for instance, a barracks and things like that. Later in the game that is not important though.
@Flexserve the "HD tags" are to cover the timer so you don't know if an assault is going to be "game ending" or not aka so you can't see the timer, also not everybody in the entire world knows every single map in sc2 and finally status bars help you know who is losing in a fight aka so you can see their health
"nice forcefields, trying to block out the zerglings". I really think he was trying to trap them in so he could kill them off safely with stalker/sentry:)

Two days later my jaw is still being dragged along the floor. One has to wonder why they don't send THIS stuff on TV instead of the same old, tired stuff they put out. I'd much rather watch something as insane as this than watch TV. I just might have killed myself if I were at the losing end of this game. Totally worth it!
@nur226 it takes a long time to master practice is the only thing that will really help..as for advice , when i first started i couldn't multitask like i do now.. YOU MUST NEVER STOP TO WAIT...in a rts game like starcraft you can always be doing something to help with economy, upgrades, and lastly your army..don't sit there and wait for minerals to build up for something..(you can if you want to fast expand or something) but a general tip for starters is learn to multitask and practice :)
can some1 educate me? I see at the beginning of the game they both are having crazy crazy APM. It's almost like Anakin Skywalkers's midaclorian count. But they weren't building nething just mining. So what are they doing to get all those actions? Some1 plez tell me?

@xMystic27x Nukethestars, RanshinDA and Moletrap are still doing the current Korean SC1 games. They are great commentators. For older games you can also check out DiggtySC, KlazartSC, CholeraSC, and SC2GGrise (I'm sure there are plenty more but those are the ones I'm familiar with). DiggitySC is also doing some SC2 stuff now and he's really great. One of my favourites.
@Xephon212 all depends on how you play. zerg is reactionary so they are the hardest race imo so you need to know a lot of other builds from other races to react to them.
I remember some Brood War game that lasted for 4 hours or something. And there were nothing but small patches of mineral with like 40 minerals in each one around and ALL gas was depleted. I think it was a Zerg vs Protoss game. I really want to watch that again, anyone know about it?

When I play sc2, whether its vs ai or multiplayer online theres always a message telling me "try closing other applications to improve performance". As a matter of fact my gameplay is always laggy (even with minimal graphs)... so what applications do i have to close?? Someone help please!
@Ravel87 PT2,PT3 and so on will always take a long time. why? because, each file for a part is approx 750 MB. it takes about 45 minutes to upload one part. then another 15 to process. so part 2 will take a long time. more than an hour
@Cascco by strategy do you mean going back and forth over the same flags until one guy runs out of credit ? -,- haha just kidding, as you said each game has some unique plus to it, but I prefer the explosive action that SC brings. I agree, SC's realism needs work, but mainly not the combat system. The way air units are represented ( drastically scaled down and always hovering when not moving, regardless of flight mechanism -,- ) bothers me the most :/

@gkbs what I think he means by the pylon being proxy, you can just warp units there whenever you want.
@gkbs depends how'd you define control, control could simply be that you know if the enemy has the tower or not in their possesion

quick question from a noob sc2 player, is full saturation 24 on minerals and 6 on gas?

It takes time to upload an 8 minute 1080p HD video file. youtube also has to process it. have patience.
