Hi, question, I've been keeping up with you guys for years and have always loved the Vessi sponsorship. But I live in Europe and have thus far never been able to buy them since Vessi doesn't ship here. Do you guys happen to have heard about them shipping to Europe somewhere in the near future? I'm really hoping to get my hands on a pair someday.
@@ceevee_26 Hi! We reallyyyy hope they can ship to Europe soon too! 🥲 All we know is that their website says “We’re working hard to bring the magic of Vessi to more locations worldwide!”.
Ugghh, Japan is such a vibe! Your trip looks amazing so far! And the food! The food!! The food!!!! It’s the hardest part about watching these videos is watching you guys eat delicious Japanese food 😭😭😭😭
I am missing those strawberry cream sandwiches so much! It was torture editing this video 🥲 JUST saw your video and realized we missed each other at the fireworks festival! 😭
Tokyo just hits differently! I’ve seriously been enjoying these Japan vlogs. I wish I could visit and see all the sights you saw. However, the vicarious pleasure of tagging along with you two is the next best thing. Thank you SO MUCH!
I visited Japan in January and I miss it. Great food and cafes. Oh and the matcha soft serve ice cream. OMG… so good. Thanks for your wonderful video ❤
Hi Sarah! Hi Kyuho! Ohhhh, I’m so happy that Kyuho liked the Japanese kare (curry)! It’s THE only style of curry that my husband will eat, AND my hubby loves the fukujinzuke red sweet radish that you pointed at, Sarah. I know you know what it is. 😊 I loved going shopping with you guys! So much to see! When Kyuho said that the bakery products reminded him of home. I thought the very same thing, based on the many treats that you’ve both shared with us, throughout the years. Japan does have THE best tasting whipped cream though. 😊 You did say you had to buy a new suitcase for your stuff to take home. Haha! I love it! That will soooo be me! OMG! Those gyoza filled tebasaki wings are going onto my list of things to try, when I get to Japan next year. Thank you guys for sharing with us! So happy that you got to spend time with your friend.
And again after a long day of work i watched your amazing video ate ramen and relaxed, Japan is so amazing i hope to see it one day , thanks for the video it made my evening
5:43 do you have a tailor you can take them to back in Seoul? even in the small town I lived in near Ulsan has a tailor that was reasonably priced, that's always the best idea, get a slightly larger size then have it altered to fit you better.
I do! I may have done this if the length was just a little longer, but if the jeans had shrunk in the wash even just 1 cm (which usually happens) they would’ve been awkwardly short 🙃
I laugh when you always go on about how wiped you are after every day out walking in Korea or Japan - because I see two young people on screen. Tokyo never gets dull and you captured it really well
I like having a big breakfast in Tokyo or Seoul. It automatically stops me from snacking. There’s a big toy store in Ginza, it’s directly across the street from a Don Quixote and a supermarket
if you're just using subway next time...i recommend the subway pass...72 hours unlimited subway rides from Tokyo metro and Toei metro for about 1500 yen
I've always admired the colour grading on your videos - they always look so beautiful! Do you use LUTS to achieve this? If so, might I ask which one you used on this video?
@@2hearts1seoul Wow, you do it "by hand"?! That's even more impressive! I'd love to be a "fly on the wall" when you plan, film and edit, to see your workflow. I can't imagine how you produce such enjoyable, beautiful looking and beautiful sounding videos on a weekly basis!
Our next video will be in Seoul, but the week after will be the final video in our Japan series 🇰🇷🇯🇵 We already made the decision a couple of years ago that we will not be getting any more pets for the foreseeable future.
We’re happy enough caring for our neighborhood cats every day 🐈 we do really want to travel more as well. Mainly, the emotional and financial strain that comes along with years of having a beloved pet that is ill is just something we can’t handle again.
Your videos resembles the vibes of the other travel blogger, Sam and Victor. They recently do a Tokyo vlog too. Seems alot of people are traveling to Jp. due to the currency. Shopping is crazy there.
Ooohh, we’ve seen some of their travel videos across Asia and love them! There are a LOT of people visiting Japan-we definitely found the prices for many things are noticeably cheaper than Korea.
Mitsukoshi Ginza food hall say NO MORE!!!!! 👅👌🏻 Yep we have had our Suica cards for years!!! So good!!! Agreed no seats for rest and no rubbish bins is the down side to japan I find!!!
I'm sure the rain and wind was refreshing after the heat and humidity. The heat must be so hard on Japan's elderly population. I would have loved to hear more about Colin's experience living in Japan, but perhaps there wasn't enough time. How long were you both in Japan?
Colin studied in Japan in both high school and university, and he’s been living there longer than I’ve been living in Korea, so a whiiile. We were in Japan for 6 days.
@@2hearts1seoul Wow - that's probably longer than he lived in Canada. I thought you were in Japan for much longer given the length of this Japan series - no complaints. I'm enjoying this series.
I have been reading a lot about over tourism in popular tourist spots (including Japan). Due to the low Japanese yen it has attracted a lot of tourists who otherwise may not have had Japan at the top of their bucket list. It has also attracted a lot of streamers who basically film live videos often for shock value. Many streamers are young American men, but unfortunately some have been Canadian, and European also. Many have been disrespectful towards locals, defaced local monuments (including some in Kyoto), trespassed, and some ended up in jail. I mentioned the over tourism because I am not sure if it was noticeable during Chuseok for you two. The idea of streamers upsets me because it goes against the entire purpose of travelling and can create a divide between locals and tourists. I would have loved to have heard Colin's perspective on streamers and over tourism.
Awesome video. Going back to Tokyo next month and I always hit the Uniqlo store in Ginza. The dept store basements are so amazing I think I could eat there every day for a month and not get bored.
Sarah, you have to visit one of the Donguri Republic stores the next time that you're in Japan. They are a must visit for any Studio Ghibli fan! There's a number of stores across the country (I frequent the stores in Kamakura's Komachi Street, Tokyo Station Character Street and Ikebukuro's Sunshine City regularly).
Oohhh I know 👀 I was planning to visit one location about a 30 minute walk from our hotel, but by then I had done too much shopping and decided against it 😅

Is Japan a free & sovereign nation despite 50,000 heavily armed US military occupying the entire Island?
The American occupation in Japan ended in 1952.
