    @JohnVC Рік тому +3

    Magnus' intuition is so good that even when he's not fully confident in a calculation his intuition will sometimes give him the best move, though he's not sure why. He's explained this many times after a game why he picked a move, and sometimes he says "it just felt like the right move". Imagine having the confidence of feeling like it's probably the right move (and it usually is), whereas his opponent is probably worried about a bad calculation, which can betray their confidence, instinct, and creativity in the moment.

    Glad that Magnus is showing humility and started again to look at Chess with respect and love. The impression he gave in the recent past was that of one who has lost his way and has become arrogant. Nice to watch this and hopefully Magnus would start playing serious Chess and become World Championship contender again. One should always leave a legacy that children can follow in times ahead. Nice to see this Magnus.

      If you are the best and know nobody is on your level which was true in his case I don't think it's arrogance thinking of yourself as the world's best

      @@RedditR33ls the caution against arrogance is exactly for the best and the powerful. A weak man will only make a fool of himself if he is arrogant. It's the best who should be careful. Good if Magnus becomes or is already humble.
