Bruh, first time I had a beer, i was 12 and it was new years eve, my dad was like "want a glass?" said "sure" i almost puked, but nowadays, a hot summer day, with a nice cold glass of carlsberg, nothing beats that.
There's no legal drinking age in Denmark. When you are under 16 you may not buy alcohol, but its 100% permissible and normal to drink before then, as long as someone older buys it for you. 😊
If that happened in Sweden and systembolaget caught you buying alcohol for a child,, you would be banned from ever buying alcohol again. And reported to the police. That’s how r*pists find their victims, don’t f*cking do it!
"...as long as someone older buys it for you." Technically only if your parents or guardian approve. It is illegal for other adults to buy alcohol for minors.
@@atlasdev that's the correct answer. If you're below 16, you better make sure that your parents are okay with it. But the police won't bother you if they catch you with a beer at age 14, they won't even ask where you got it from. Only if you misbehave will your parents ever know.

No matter how you cut it, the intention is to limit access to alcohol and not just prohibit sale of alcohol. Is it likely you get caught and sentenced? No, it's highly unlikely, but that doesn't make it legal. It's really not that clear cut as you might think. You certainty can't just buy alcohol and feed it to kids and think everything is alright just because they didn't buy it themselves. I hope you're not that mentally challenged.

Arriving in September - you know, in the autumn - and then being surprised that summer is suddenly ending, that's not fair. Most of us here in DK are just more surprised that summer even lasted into September 😂
Yeah, September is usually considered autumn in Denmark, and the "summer ending" normally happens sometime in August. Danish summer tends to be from some point in June (usually mid to late) to some point in August (usually around mid), depending on how the weather hits on a specific year. Before that it can easily be a bit chilly, and when autumn hits expect a lot of "grey weather", chilly weather, and rain.
To get the true Danish taste, you should have a Cocio with the hotdog. And you need to get outside of Copenhagen to get a hotdog with the right bread for hotdogs.
Fun fact: Traffic lights along the "bike highways" are tailored to the average speed of a cyclist between each intersection. So the rest of the traffic is centered around the cycling.
Happy to have had you here in our country ^^ And your pronauncations were great. Better come back again! And well, the Danish weather - "You can't trust the Danish weather" is a saying (at least) in my family

You allmost got it like 98% the thing missing, the east part of Denmark like CPH is very expensiv Aarhus not cheap. But the rest is very nice on your $$$. In general Jylland is very relaxed. If you cant handel Piratos then your no Viking, You might make the best motercycels in Japan but If you cant handel Piratos, put that kartana down and use a baby spoon. In Denmark tourists buy smørrebrød, vikings make their own lunch, then mount the long boat go to Japan and feed you Piratos and steal a Bonzai tree
just a note. when you turn 16 you can buy alcohol up to 16.5%. when you turn 18 you can buy alcohol over 16.5%. what i am trying to say is we dont have a "legal drinking age". many people including myself and my friends have started drinking when we were aroud the age of 14. there are only rules about who can buy it not who can drink it.
Copenhagen could not have gotten a better Japanese tourist ambassador.

Thank you for watching :) Haha yeah it’s quite short but so much better than Japanese summer where it’s too humid and hot 🥵
Well, the danish summer started in March this year. This has been one of the best "fruit years" for decades. It has been SUCKY for the nut bushes though.
You know George, I've always thought it was funny that we're both small island nations with a diet heavy on fish. I hope you enjoy Denmark a ton
Loved this video! Thank you very much for all the hard work you put into both the information and presentation! It was a delight to see a well informed outside view of my country and how tourists see it :) Great work and hope you had a great time despite the unpredictable weather haha!
So happy you had a good time in Denmark! Thank you for the fun videos you make! 🩷
Thank you for watching♡
Really nice to see a video on someone visiting Denmark that's so well informed! Really enjoyed the video!
i've lived in denmark since i was born and my turkish family and i have been treated very kindly here. Also did you know that turkish and japanese have strange similiarities in their languages from the being SOV orderto a very similiar phonetics. Rarely they are also the exact same. Just shows you how turkey had a asian origin.
Well done. Love when people talk about our little forgotten country, you said so many different facts, that many others dont bring along. thumbs up
It's awesome to see you talk about a place I actually know and visit commonly. Like its just fun watching you go somewhere and seeing you go to places I have actually visited and just being like "Hey I know that place!" and "Hey that's like super close to me!". It's also just awesome to see how well you word your sentences and you just really make it an interesting watch. You're very informative compared to others, and it's just a very enjoyable watching experience. Please continue making content as you are very good at it.
Jeg håber det var sjovt at være i København, og jeg glæder mig til at se dig her igen.
This is one of the best tourist in Denmark videos I have seen! Thank you for coming to my country 😄🇩🇰
Bro u made my day. You can stay all you want, and big up ur research. NAILED IT M8
This has honestly got to be one of the most accurate videos about Denmark that I've seen. And your pronounciation is really good!
If you go to Denmark again, you should consider visiting Ribe (oldest town, very different from Copenhagen, but with a lot of history)
This is the most well researched and well presented travelling video of my country I have seen to date. Domo arigato
It’s still summer 😄. Still having open Windows 24/7, still wearing shorts and t-shirt 😉
Like you’re videos, hopefully you will visit outside Copenhagen also.
Vi hygger os max!
Love your perspective, and kudos on pronunciation on many of the words!!
You almost had me fooled as native when you said "rødgrød med fløde" that convincingly.
Lovly video.
Thank you for watching and for the compliment :) I know it’s still not perfect, but I practiced a lot to pronounce it as correctly as possible. Now I’m proud of myself haha
@@GeorgeJapan Honestly you should be! You do without any doubt speak better Danish than I speak Japanese.
It is a good custom and greatly appreciated when turrists takes their time to learn a couple of phrases. I would argue its something one should do everywhere they go.
Again thank you for your great video friend. Hope you come visit us again some time.
*watching the vid and lovehow u describe my country then i hear single* hey im too xD lets meet up lolz
glad u enjoyed urself and keep up learning danish bud u do great!
Thanks buddy. Come back another time.
Tak for watching :) I’d love to❤️🇩🇰
Thank you so much for such an informative but relaxing video. I always want to go to Denmark, for now I can have a taste of it before saving up enough money
Great video! I hope you enjoyed your stay in our lovely country! It's for sure expensive here in denmark, but we do also have a pretty high salary, and also a high taxrate, but that does give us free healthcare, education and a lot more!
And also the pushing of people in the train in japan was hilarious!!!
So well researched and your danish is the best I've heard from a non native in a long time. You are so sweet, please visit again. Try seeing the mainland, Aarhus is very nice ❤
Arigatak you for your wonderful video on our country, George-san.
Arigatou for watching!🇩🇰
the way you said "nå" was just too amazing, i knew instantly what you meant hahaha, welcome to Denmark!
Dude, you did good. Better than many coming here. Hope you enjoyed it!
Hahahha ok second comment but had to. The "fuck dig" after the liqurish caught me of guard haha perfect
I was eagerly awaiting this video! Wonderful to see you enjoying Denmark!
Here in Norway, we had/have an old tourist commercial that would end with the jingle "The er deilig å være norsk, i Danmark!" (It's lovely to be norwegian, in Denmark!) XD
Ha-ha,...George, with a sense of humor like that you won´t be single for long.
As someone who lives outside Copenhagen, there are literally no bikes and you can't count on there being good bike lanes everywhere either. This is only in the big cities.
Now wait until you go to the Netherlands, that'll be very different!
Well I live on the opposite side of the country in Vestjylland - plenty of bikelanes here both in the cities and between villages/cities.
I love that you used one of their most famous small tongue twisters! i was saying it to myself when i saw the thumbnail 😂😂Hope you enjoy Copenhagen, sending safe travels from Norway :D
😂 I can say it’s much harder to pronounce than Norwegian. I had a fantastic time there🇩🇰 Tak!
The licorice pipe you tried were my maternal grandpas favourite. He died over a decade ago and last nigth I missed him so much it hurt.
Just want to say thank you for liking them. It made my morning❤❤❤
Thank you
Super nice and respectful video about our country. I will correct you about drinking Faxe Kondi with a hotdog, it's usually a Cocio you would drink along with a hotdog, but Faxe Kondi is another nice danish drink just like Cocio so I still approve ;)
Damn me for wasting time being curious about the Japanese meaning of "kokyo", and letting you get this in first! 🤣
Thank you for watching :) Yeah I should’ve tried Cocio chocolate drink, but Faxe Kondi was also a nice combination with the hotdog!
The “smør” in smørrebrød is actually “smøre”, which means “smear” or “spread” and not butter.
YES you made it to denmark, glad you enjoyed it.
However a hotdog is traditionally eaten with a cocio chocolate drink instead of a faxe.
Great details and facts and the pronunciation was impressive coming from a country with such a different language
Thank you so much, this was great fun and enjoyed how you also seem to having fun while doing it. And yeah Super Piratos is definitely one of the worst if you finish a bag your blood pressure will literally be through the roof you will also have cold sweats and palpitations 😂
😂 Thank you for watching :) I don’t understand how it can be tasty for so many people in the Nordic countries..
@@GeorgeJapan yeah, suppose you gotta learn to love it early. Guess it’s kinda like our take on very hot food 😁🤷🏼♂️
Overall great review and research of our country. You were entertaining as well and I was impressed with your pronounciations and informations.
Keep up the good work. 😊
There is actually no legal drinking age in Denmark, you’re just not allowed to buy it at those ages you listed - but you are allowed to drink it! :-)
Love the part where your tastebuds were converted from Japanese to Scandinavian, supposedly😂 at first I was impressed, then I found myself spitting out my morning coffee.
Great video! Thank you for trying so many things, including the language, you are a natural ❤
So glad you enjoyed your visit, I wish we could've said hi!! 🙌
Im danish, I would rank the japanese higher when it comes to making danish and bread. You guys really have some great bakeries in japan. Im impressed. Also, I love Natto. Unfortunately I cannot find it fresh outside Japan, only freezed.
the "rogro med fløøøe" I CANT-
😂
Yo thanks for the best video ever greetings from Denmark btw u r good at saying danish words correctly ❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Man those sandwich and the hot dog look so simple but so delicious 🤤🤤🤤
I love the "Danish vibe", the country and peoples looks so cool ^^
Thanks for the video Georges, take care 😁
Thank you for watching as always :) I totally agree, I love the Danish vibe🇩🇰
Great video. I totally agree with everything you said in it about Denmark
you sir, just got yourself a new subscriber, such a well made video!
seems like you have done a ton of research, and the sprinkle of danish words in between is honestly funny as hell, and well pronunciated! XD
hope you enjoyed your stay here.
keep up the good work.
Impressive pronunciation 👌🏻 Thanks for visiting ❤️🇩🇰
