Loved the tribute to Corey's Iowa mask, really cool catchy song with so many horror film references, the shining, poltergeist, christine, amityville, scream, saw, mirrors to name a few :D
@@MusecastPodcast I worked at a Spencer’s and spirit while I was going to college, it would fit in so well with the monster mash’s and living dead girls.
A lot of the song structure is built around parts of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Even the outro plays the intro to that Bach song and Matt plays that as the intro in live performance.
Seeing you try to react to the lyrics, video, and music all at once is hilarious haha I already knew the song and lyrics before the video and it was still overwhelming the first time
It’s a great album. This isn’t my best song but loving the drum triplets at the end. It is REALLY catchy though. Love your frantic reaction - watching, listening, getting all your words wrong, etc. 🤣🤣 Got my vinyl but keeping a couple unwrapped to sell in the future. Thanks and enjoy the album….and the Tour!!!! 👍🏼🤘🏼
If you went to Muse subreddit page you'll see a lot of things in this video is from their older stuff like you know the Dom's "sit the f*** down" joke that made Matt literally died on that one? It's the corey taylor's mask (this, 4:35)
@@michaelbriefs9764 I found it! It’s the pingouin from the Movie Misery. When the main character tries to leave and almost drops it and he puts it back just like in the video!
I viewed it as more about getting dragged into social media echo chambers. I amused me that there was controversy about Compliance when the song was about not being a blind follower without checking multiple sources. via social media misinformation again and again :D
One of the best surprise of the album, I wasn't expecting something exciting because of the title, I was wrong!
Me too
The Shining was a massive one. The carpet. The blood in the elevator, the maze.

Muse!!! I have true privilege..having seen them perform live. This track rocks, like all the others.
They just came to Malaysia and performed this, and it was fucking amazing! Genuinely one of the best songs of the night
You are the first only muse channel I've seen and I been waiting for someone doing this song soooo bad. Your my fave now forever
Awww! Thank you! That is so sweet! Welcome to the Musecast channel!
This better be playing at Spencer’s and spirit Halloween stores.
Ha ha, yes! They better play it!!

Hello Miss.. I absolutely love your material. Muse is my favorite band OF ALL TIME

there was a lot of the shining stuff. From the carpert, and labinrith stuff to the sea of blood. you should really watch it. it's an iconic movie.
I loved this song! I though it was the most creative song on the album. The whole record was so good!

Hahaha, same here! It was way to much and I loved it :D

"Ghosts" makes you miss people you have never met.
When your batteries run out of camera, you have a real problem on your hands.
😂😂😂
Brilliant song that one

The film most referenced by the video is Stephen King/Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”. Also “IT” was referenced.
What's with the pingouin? Do you know? Driving me nuts not to know 😅
@@Grizzlycubby I don’t know! I’ll have to look it up. 😄

The Shining, Twin peaks
Great track, nice video. Period
The car is from "Christine".

Keep waiting for muse to tail off but they keep coming back. It's no Knights of Cydonia but still good 👍
Christine was that the beginning
Like this vidéo, very shining 🔥
Intro sounds a lot like Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend by Powerwolf.
So sad to hear your battery is running out of camera, I hope it gets better
Time for a quick logo then
@ Lucia i like you
coool tho
It’s certainly an entertaining video and quite a catchy song from an outstanding album .🔥😀
Christine
No headphones and no volume from speakers so you really not listening properly.
First!
be so cool if you said nothing till the songs finished you put me off chatting away,,just an observation 👍
I think the underlying theme of this song is mask normalization. LAME! Lol
Your reaction is sucks. But i still watching because i'm fans of Muse too 😂 hope the best for you ❤️
