Yeah, like I read a comment on a website about the 80s bringing back some stuff from the 60s and 50s. Like bttf is partly based in the 50s and in Ghostbusters they drive a 1959 Cadillac - I think it's the most famous model years of Cadillac? Oh and little shop of horrors is based in the 60s/50s, same with dirty dancing, although they use some 80s music in it. You can't really get that vibe of 80s movies based in the 60s/50s in films today that are based in the "space age" era. Also speaking of 50s/60s, I think Apple seem to be in a retro phase atm with their streaming service, becuase there are a couple of shows that are based in the 50s/60s (hello tomorrow and lessons in chemistry). Apple also seem to have a thing for bttf and it's producer, Steven Spielberg's production company, "amblin entertainment", as they featured a DeLorean in one of their product unveilings and their releasing a Michael j fox documentary and they did a reboot of "amazing stories" which is an amblin entertainment production, or the original was anyway

The 3.5 inch floppies came in a hard plastic shell but the discs the data is stored on inside the container are actually thin and flexible. And previous iterations that were larger (8 inch and 5.25 inch) came in softer protective coverings.
I still own and use a VCR. VHS kept me entertained for hours as a child and I've kept the tradition of watching things on VHS going, even though not very much anymore. My mother bought a copy of Peter Combe's Christmas Under the Stars back in about 1993 and I sat down and watched that same tape just this past Christmas, so I've managed to keep that tradition alive for 30 years thus far.
3:05 They are called floppy disks because if you open one up, you'll see that there is a thin plastic floppy disk inside where the data is written/read from.

I like old school music but living like them in the era, thats something else. I also do have a walkman from my dad as a b day gift. I'm 22. I can listen to different generation musics
I remember growing up in the 80’s and 90’s and the 60’s being popular. I would ask my parents all of these questions about what the 60’s were like, I would listen to 60’s music a lot. I think this happens sometimes, you get caught in the world of the past but my parents would tell me., “There was good and bad, it was different but in some ways the same. “
I can confirm she has replicated even the 80s personality perfectly! It’s almost like I was watching a high school friend being interviewed on TV! 😂 superb job!
good on her. the 80s were awesome.
and cant buy me love is a great 80s teen movie, as are many others from the period, eg better off dead, the sure thing, etc etc
The 80s and 90s were the best of everything!
I love her attitude!!!
Love it!! Brought back a lot of memories!
My sister had that clock radio. Fantastic stuff.
I grew up in the 1980’s. The only thing that I listened to the music from that decade on my iPhone 14 now these days. I still kind of dressed the same. I can’t let my hair grow long because I go nuts when it gets shaggy for short hair.
I have just fallen in love with her! I can only imagine her reaction if she saw me listening to all of my 80s songs.
The 3.5 inch floppies came in a hard plastic shell but the discs the data is stored on inside the container are actually thin and flexible. And previous iterations that were larger (8 inch and 5.25 inch) came in softer protective coverings.
U cant blame her! The 80s were great!
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Caboodle I had one of those in 1988
That's my girl. 🥰😍 Reminds me of Robyn Lively characters especially Jessica Andrews.

Hey that's my cousin's daughter and she's awesome!
I miss the '80s.
Watch "Girls just wanna have fun" 😊my favourite
I still own and use a VCR. VHS kept me entertained for hours as a child and I've kept the tradition of watching things on VHS going, even though not very much anymore. My mother bought a copy of Peter Combe's Christmas Under the Stars back in about 1993 and I sat down and watched that same tape just this past Christmas, so I've managed to keep that tradition alive for 30 years thus far.
Honestly, she was the only one worth following on tiktok.
I'm like this but with the 60s and 70s ❤ fashion and music from the past is the best
She's nailed it ;) Super Awesome Jordan :)
This is very cool! Good for her, having a fun time.
I so agree, I'm nostalgic for a time I wasn't even around in. Something about that era just seems so normal and fun.
Aw, I want to go back! I was 8-18 in the 80’s. She makes me want to go back to living this way ❤
As a 17 year old, Im like obsessed with everyting from the 80s....much to my parents distse ive got like a buch of 80s tech.
hey lol
3:05 They are called floppy disks because if you open one up, you'll see that there is a thin plastic floppy disk inside where the data is written/read from.
She’s adorable.
The 80s was such a great time. You are so amazing there🙂. I had such a great time in the 80s
Aww, I love this!!! I was a teen in the 80s, and I loved being a teen, and I really miss the fun and simple life.
We had CD's in the 80's. They weren't cheap though so tapes hung on for a long time. I started the 80's at 12. What a time!
