Enjoyed this immensely! A note from the designer (me) -- the France in Danger marker is not an army. Reread that rule. 😃 Really glad you're finding this a fun game. Knocking out the British cruisers on Turn 1 was awesome and I'm waiting to see what long term impact that has. Great job!
You really should go back to this game and have a full playthrough! I bought the PnP version of this game and I'm having a blast with it. I get lots of moments when I pause the game to learn more about a particular aspect of the Great war I didn't know about. At the same time, the game plays fast and furious just as soon as you've learned the basics and your head goes "one more turn and I'll go back to work, just one more". You guys know (and love) the feeling... Next time, please try to knock out France in turns 1 and 2: probably not the best strategy, but it's so epic! Lots of thanks to the designer for this hidden gem (not the only one he offered); there will never be enough WW1 games out there!
Excellent! Looking forward to seeing a full on play through. Game has a lot of similarities to "Jeff Davis: The Confederacy at War" of course both are designed by the same person, really like this system, already placed my order in, and looking forward to getting it soon.

Yes, a full playthrough must be done!

I want to do a playthrough of another Ben Madison game. Maybe I'll create a poll of the ones I need to get back to and let the audience decide!
Thanks for an interesting review. This one for sure goes on my list!
Awesome play through! Keep up the awesome channel dude!

How does this compare to Global War? They look similar at least mechanics wise.
They are very close mechanics-wise, but there are enough differences between the two to make them different games.
Do a full playthrough!
This was useful. Thanks.
