Updates: * A clarification on GMT's website came out after this was created: You only get the +10G and +1P for conquering a nation once, not every turn. Sorry for getting that wrong.
I have this on my table now. I paused this morning because of a question about one card (Brumaire), but for the most part the cards and game play are very self-explanatory.
Thank you for this very helpful walk through the rules - I look forward to this game. Meanwhile we have your videos to watch, which is awesome. Any idea how many takes you will make of the learning game? I thoroughly enjoy them!
Very kind of you! The first part of our second take on the Learning game drops tomorrow! Just took a while to finish, edit...and then I've been dealing with Internet issues! After that new parts should drop every 3 days or so.
Thanks for the overview. Buying this game during the Labor Day sale. I’ll be using your TTS module since I don’t have the space to play it physically. Thanks for making it.
Much appreciated! Any games in particular you're interested in? We've started looking at COIN, having played some Gest of Robin Hood on the channel. But are there any games you'd really like to see, just in case they match my/my brother's interests?
@@AgilitySnips-GT Thank´s for your reply. I´m particular interested in games like: For the people, Washington`s war, Paths of glory, Caesar`s, Rome vs. Gaul, Empire of the sun, and so on.
Really looking forward to this game, its awesome. If its a success, I hope there will be a whole series. So much opporrunities... From Alexander the great to fdr, nearly everything is possible.
Yep! There's already a learning playthrough series running, starts here: ua-cam.com/video/pTHdC19vEf8/v-deo.html I'm also gonna have a playthrough of my own later on.
The setup is terribly described in the rule book and I don’t see anywhere in the playbook that describes setup. Honestly, the worst setup section I have ever encountered in gaming. Am I missing something?!?!?
I don't know that you're missing anything. I've played so much using TTS, in which the Setup is just there for me, that I honestly haven't thought much about it.
@@AgilitySnips-GT I did eventually figure it out, of course, but find it incredibly frustrating how vague and disseminated the setup instructions were. I feel that all too often in this hobby, our enjoyment comes in spite of the rule books instead of because of them. Playbooks, and excellent video resources such as your effort here, go a long way to mitigate those difficulties. Thank you for this wonderful video.

I discovered your channel today, and i love it. Could you make some vídeos about GMT card driven games? It would be awesome. Thank you.

FDR would be awesome.
@@ThymeKeeper Yeah, his presidency was really challenging, so much problems he had to solve. Sadly here in germany nearly nobody know him. 😅
Will there be a play through that explains things as you go a long .Very Interested ;-)

I'm still struggling with the dang setup ,,,, maybe a video on that ...
What in particular is tripping you up?
