I have two 2nd gen Govee H6072 floor lamps for about a couple of months and they have been excellent so far. The only issue I have had was that a couple of days after I had been using them they turned themselves off, I turned them back on and it hasnt happened again. I am truly impress with them. I also have the Hue Playbar, table lamp, and the 1600 lumen ambience bulb which completes my lighting. Hue is totally off the reservation with their pricing but I decided to go all in. Hue can take a lesson from Govee when it comes to connectivity. It was a nightmare connecting to Alexa and somewhat so with my wifi pertaining to the bulb. Connecting the Hue Playbar and table lamp was seamless though. On the other hand the Govee floor lamps connected to Alexa and wifi so lightning fast I did not know they had connected and was still waiting. I have never had any product connect to Alexa and wifi as fast as the Govee. I mean that it was instantaneous. Kudos to Govee. I love Hue but they dont have anything on Govee. Hue is extremely expensive and the main consideration is that they will have to be replaced once they cease functioning. I wish that I had gotten into ambience lighting a lot sooner because it transforms the entertainment and home living into something truly astonishing.
Good review. To the point and a clear demo of the differences. I went with the Lyra (they just released a black version) since the colors look better (specifically yellow for my candle light settings). Govee is having a sale and there was only a $30 price difference.

Just set up my lyra lamp. I can change colours using voice commands with alexa but is there a voice command to make the lamp start or stop its scene effects? Bit of a pain having to use the app at the moment

Is the basic one compatible with the govee dreamview function? I'm looking forward to ad a lamp to my set up and I know the Lyra is compatible but that silver and white combination is a deal breaker since it doesn't match at all with my furniture 😢

Does anyone know if the basic has the same color capabilities as the lyra? Like using multiple custom colors from the color wheel on individual sections on each light? Does the basic have 8 separate sections? Can each of the sections be individually controlled to use a different custom colors from the color wheel?

I think you are able to set this up in the Govee app. Not 100% sure as haven't tried it but there are so many things you can do in the app that I can't see them missing this one out.
Why didn't you compare one important feature, namely, what kind of warm white light each one has? According to the technical description, the Lyra has a better and more natural warm white light. That's why I just bought two of these Lyra lamps. They are currently on offer for 94 euros each.
Reason being warm light is one of the easiest colours to replicate. Both lamps do a remarkable job at producing this colour and to be honest either lamp would produce exactly what you need.
Just some (hopefully) constructive feedback. The first thing I had to do was fast-forward to 3 minutes in, as the first section of the video didn't appear to have much valuable content. Then I had to speed up to 1.5x, and even then it was a slow-paced delivery. However, it was great to see the two products side by side and, despite the peak brightness difference, I will probably go with the Basic.

Create a routine on your Alexa and have it set to what you ask it to do. E.g 'Alexa turn on party lights'

I wonder whether this lamp also works without a WLAN router. Can I only set up and operate this lamp via Bluetooth?
It work using it connected to Bluetooth or you can also connect and control through Alexa app on your phone or with echo devices.

I don't understand why the Lyra has this huge base. It is the better lamp and I probably would pay the extra money, but this base looks ugly imo.
