I have no complaints about them. I have them on my Alexa light schedule to turn on in my room setup and sometimes tweet out photos where it can be seen. I don't regret my purchase. Thanks for notifying me about a discount cause I was planning to buy another

Can confirm the LED strip comes in at the perfect length if you follow the instruction manual
I bought two of them, tbh both times putting it together it seemed too long but you just need to start from the top, keep pushing your thumbs into it working downward and don’t be afraid to squish the wires at the bottom and really work the strip down into the pocket and it somehow fits.
Watts with the best videos on UA-cam. I love Govee stuff.

i have the aura, because I use it to wake me up in the morning and then give me some moodlight when I work from home for example
but the floor lamp, that would be a nice addition, was a but concerned by the assembly, but seems straightforward.
excuse me does the $149 version with the bulkier base not come with the adapter shown at 3:56? then it makes my choice much easier which to buy
Does it connect to the hover smart lights on the tv. Like will it match the colors on the screen too?

Great video! Can these lights sync with the tv lights? Using the movie dreamview?
These sync with your phone source audio or the audio it hears in the room. Govee makes lights for TV so I imagine those might have a direct connection to TVs for source sound? I don't know for sure.
Does it still work? I'm seeing in reviews that most all of these types of rgb corner lamps fail after a short time. Most reviewers on YT do not update their initial impressions
Hey could you answer this question:
Is there another way to sync these lamps without having to do the 'Automation' function? It limits us to sunrise/set or motion sensors which isn't where I am at in LED tech. I have got the M1 matter on the way as well and if I could pair all of my gear that would be sweet. Anything helps and thank you.

I see you mentioned the options but I'm missing what you are trying to make it do? You can add a schedule to make it and others turn on/off at any time of your choosing. I don't use automation within govee but I use it with alexa app.

The real concerns for me is: A. Is the brightness of the strips enough for having much light already in the room? And B. Does this product actually last? I’ve read a lot of reviews on Amazon that the lamp only worked for months even weeks or DAYS before dying.

Do these lamps absolutely need WiFi to change the colors? Or can I just use Bluetooth and the app? I don’t have a WiFi router. Have my stuff hardwired only.
Nope. To confirm I put my phone in airplane mode and I was able to change the colors and everything in the app through bluetooth.

Anyone painted the exterior black. Was wondering if you can take the cover off the base and paint it without having to mask it off

Nah it's ambient lighting that invites you into a space. Not practical for tasks
